She herself didn't mind at all if a Ministry Auror was present on the grounds, she just wished he had sent her an owl ahead of time. As it was, Galena was completely unprepared to welcome the man or offer him a room. She took the letter from him and stowed it in her robes, not wanting to open it in front of the others. Galena then turned to Damien, "This office is perfectly safe for private conversations. I have put the greatest level of protection charms on it possible. Nobody will overhear us. I understand your wanting Dumbledore to hear this, but seeing as his portrait, as well as my office, are currently in ruins, that is not possible. Perhaps we could converse again once the goblins have finished the renovations." Geneve spoke up just then and Galena glanced away from Damien and to the girl. She seemed to think that Nikolaus wasn't doing anything harmful. Galena wasn't so sure, but was willing to give the man the benefit of the doubt so long as he refrained from such displays in the future.

"Perhaps "Fire" is the wrong word...asked to step down as Head Auror would fit better- not even Harry Potter is infallible when it comes to the politics of the Ministry." It was clear that Damien didn't trust him, but Gwydion couldn't care less really. It was a small obstacle in the grand scheme of things. He took another bite before answering the query. "As for why Mister Potter didn't come himself, I cannot say. I do not know his mind." His voice didn't reveal anything as he pulled a sealed envelope from his robes. "However, I do have a letter for the Headmistress detailing all I have said and signed by him- it may mention something else, I don't know." And with that, he passed the envelope to Galena.

"Please, sit down everyone. Help yourself to the biscuits." Galena gestured to the tin of chocolate covered biscuits on her desk.

K. Rowling's own them . I did make up Bethany and her deceased mom and dad. Chapter one: Hermione and her parents visit to Ted, Andromeda, Nympadora and Bethany Tonks household! Tonks (Nympadora) and Bethany is in their bedroom, that they share and Bethany is busy packing up all of her slayer weapons into one of the purple footlockers and her slayers books in the large black footlocker before Hermione gets to the house with her parents. Tonks helping her cousin pack her slayer things up for the trip to Diagon Alley and the train ride to Hogwart. Neither of them is worry about Hermione seeing the Scythe, Stakes, Sword, Crossbows, axes and knives because at the end of last school it comes out that Bethany was the vampire slayer when she went down into the chamber of secret even there she had a fever of 104.9 and could not keep anything down. Once she was down in the chamber, she helps Ron remove all the rocks that were blocking the way of Harry and Ginny getting out. But neither Bethany nor Tonks want to have the weapons laying out because they do not know if Hermione parents know that Bethany is the vampire slayer. Bethany has just set the last book in the black footlocker and Tonks has just throw the last stake in the purple footlocker and they are both closing the lids when they hear a meow coming closer to the door fellow by the soft breaking sound of Bethany nine weeks old Crup Starlight (looks like a Jack Russell Terrier, beside for the fork tail, cut off with a severing charm at eight weeks). Tonks: I think that your friend Hermione is here, also that she has brought a cat with her. Bethany: It sounds like Starlight is making a friend. Just then both girls see Hermione walks up to the open bedroom door followed by an orangish cat and Bethany crup Starlight that is white with a mostly black face with brown around the eyes and edges of her ear. She also has a white nose, along with a white body with a black spot in the center of her body and another black spot by her tail, Starlight also has a white spot on the top of her head. Hermione walks into the bedroom with her hands in her jean pockets and smiles and Bethany then at the younger lady that has purple hair and is wear a black witch/wizard robe Hermione: Hi Bethany, who is the young lady with the purple hair? Bethany: This is my cousin Nympadora, but she like to be called Tonks. Tonks: Hi Hermione, it is nice to meet you. Hermione: How did you make you hair that color Tonks? Tonks: I am a Metamorphmagus, like Bethany, so I can change my look whenever I want to. Hermione: So do the two of you share a bedroom? Bethany: Yeah, we don’t have to there are two extra bedrooms, but we chose to share, so one of the extra bedrooms can be use as a training room for me so I can stay in shape for slaying and to learn how to fight with new weapons. Tonks: And the other extra room is a guest bedroom which is where you will be sleep tonight and tomorrow night. Hermione: Ok. I figure that when Mr. Tonks put my trucks and book bag in that room. Bethany: What is your cat name and what breed is the cat? Hermione: His name is Crookshanks and he is half Cat and half Kneazle Hybrid. Tonks: It look like you don’t have to worry about Starlight and Crookshanks fight in the dorm the two of them seem to have become friends. Hermione: So that is what Crup look like I did not believe Fanatics Beast and where to find them when it said Crup looks a lot like Jack Russell Terriers. Bethany: Yeah, So how are your mom and dad getting along with my aunt and uncle? Hermione: They really like eachother, your uncle Ted show my dad around and my mom is telling your mom my baby story and your aunt telling Bethany baby story to my mom. Tonks: Is my mom telling baby story about me too? Hermione: Yeah and by the way I love your bedroom Bethany and Tonks. I take it that is your bed by the door Tonks seeing that the hufflepuff banner is hanging on the wall above the bed? Tonks: Yeah that is my bed. Starlight and Crookshanks take that moment to run between all three lady legs and at the bedroom door. The cat and dog then run downstairs and to the front door. Starlight and Crookshanks then start pawing at the front door, so Mrs. Tonks let them outside. Meanwhile back upstairs Hermione sets down on Bethany bed and Tonks set down on her bed, while Bethany starts to park up her school robes, uniforms, clothing, textbooks, Potion ingredients, quills, ink, Parchment, ECT and putting them into the second purple footlocker as the three of them continue to talk. Hermione: So if you were in Hufflepuff, Tonks what houses were your parents in? Tonks: My mom and her family were in Slytherin, all beside her cousin Sirius Black who was in Gryffindor. My father is a Muggle born wizards and he was in Hufflepuff like I was. And before you ask no my mom was not a support of he who must not be named, even there most of her family were supported of he who must not be named thou. Hermione: I did not think she was a support of him seeing that she married a muggle-born wizard. So Bethany’s what houses were your parents in? Bethany: My mom Elizabeth Prince was in Slytherin like her sister Eileen Prince Snape and my father Timmothy Tonks was in Gryffindor even through his twin brother was in Hufflepuff. Hermione: So that how you are relation to Snape your mom’s were sisters? Bethany: Yeah are mom’s were sisters. Just then Andromeda and Mrs. Granger’s walk out of the kitchen which is the large room that is the only part of the house that is one story, they then walk through the dinner room into the setting room and the two of them walks into the entrance hall. The two of them then over to the staircase and heads upstairs. Then Andromeda and Hermione mom walk over to the master’s bedroom, which is on the left hand-side as you come up the stair and they walk into the room. Mrs. Granger walks over to the window seat and look outsides to see the front yard. Mrs. Granger looks around the master bedroom and notice that king size bed is on the left of the door as you walk into the room. She then notices that the bedroom is print gold like the kitchen, Parlor, sitting room, bathroom, Bedroom/workout room, dinner room and the laundry room. Mrs. Granger then looks into the master bathroom and also notices that it is gold. Andromeda and Mrs. Granger walk out of the master bedroom and walk down the hallway. Mrs. Tonks show Hermione mom the guest bedroom, then Bethany and Nympadora’s bathroom. They then walk up to Bethany and Tonks bedroom doors and knocks on the girl’s door frame. All three girls look up at Hermione mom and Tonks mom. Tonks: What do you want mom? Andromeda Tonks: Can we come in? Tonks: Sure, I am Nympadora, but I like to be called Tonks. Mrs. Granger: So you are Andromeda’s daughter then? Tonks: Yeah. Mrs. Granger and Andromeda walk into the bedroom. Andromeda takes a set next to her daughter on her bed and Mrs. Granger set down next to her daughter on Bethany bed and looks around the bedroom, when she looks up at the ceiling her eyes become wide opening. Because unlike the finish ceiling in the Parlor, sitting room, bathroom, Bedroom/workout room, dinner room and kitchen downstairs and all the other room upstairs Bethany and Tonks, ceiling is an open beam ceiling. Mrs. Granger: Why dose your bedroom ceiling have round beam and its unfinish? Tonks: Because both Bethany and I like the beam ceiling look. Bethany: And it is easy to hang things from the round beams. Tonks: So mom what is dad and Mr. Granger doing? Andromeda: They are downstairs in the basement and Mr. Granger i help you dad fixes that Muggle toast that a teenage wizard bewitches to fly and the toast crushes into a wall and break aprat. Hermione: So Bethany your uncle work for the misuse of muggle artifacts office with Arthur Weasley? Bethany? Yeah. Mrs. Granger: Tonks you mom say you finish Hogwart the year before Hermione start are you going to college or do you have a job? Tonks: I just finish school and test to become a Auror. I start my first day on the job tomorrow. Mr. Granger: What an Auror? Tonks: An Auror crushes down dark wizard and witch and puts them into jail. Mrs. Granger: Hermione Mrs. and Mr. Tonks have invite us to stay for dinner and we have accept the invite to stay for dinner. Hermione: Cool Andromeda: I need to go start dinner, want to help Mrs. Granger? Mrs. Granger: Sure. Tonks mom and Hermione mom stands up and walks out of Bethany and Tonks bedroom and head downstairs to the kitchen. Bethany puts the last item of clothing into the second purple footlocker and closes the lid. She then picks the footlocker up and set it on top of the other purple footlocker that is in front of the book case, which is on her side of the bedroom and about a foot away from the end of her bed. Tonks: I am going to go downstairs and help with making dinner. Bethany: Ok, I am going to give Hermione a tour of the house, so she knows where everything is. Bethany and Tonks stand up and then the three of them walk out of the bedroom. Tonks turn left out of the turn and walks towards the stairs, when she gets to the end of the hallway she makes a right hand turn and then head downstairs. Bethany and Hermione walk across the hallway and through the door of the guest’s bedroom. Hermione looks around the room and notice that the walls and ceiling are paint Yellow and black stripes. Hermione looks at Bethany with wide eyes. Hermione: Why is the room paint in yellow and black strips? Bethany: My aunt and uncle inherited the houses from my uncle parents. This bedroom was my uncle growing up. Hermione: That explains way the room is paint in these two colors. The two girls walk out of the room and turn left and Bethany show Hermione Tonks and her bathroom, which is paint gold. The two girls then walk down the hallway and they walk through Bethany’s aunt and uncle’s bedroom door. Hermione looks around the room and looks into the master bathroom and notice that the master bathroom is gold like the bedroom and Tonks and Bethany’ bedroom. Hermione: Who bedroom was this when your great aunt and uncle own this house? Bethany: My father Timmothy and you will notice my aunt and uncle love the color gold so most of the rooms are paint that besides the guest room and mine and Tonks’s bedroom. The two girls walk out of the room and walks downstairs and into the entrance hall. They turn to the left and walk into the parlor. The first then Hermione notices is the wall are paint gold and so is the ceiling, but you only know the wall are gold from were the ceiling and wall meet, because the is bookshelves on all the walls. She then notices the old gold nineteenth century couches and chairs in the center of the room. The two girls’ walks out of the door on the left-hand side as you come through the door in the entrance hall. Bethany shows Hermione the setting room. Bethany then shows Hermione the downstairs bathroom. Bethany then show her friend the bedroom that they turn into a workout room. Both of the rooms are across from entrance of the setting room. The next room the girls go into is the dinner on their way to the kitchen. After Bethany and Hermione watches Andromeda, Tonks and Mrs. Granger making dinner for a few minutes, which is very funny since Tonks is not good at house tasks and is just learning to cook. Hermione and Bethany see that Mrs. Granger is teacher Tonks the right way to clean out the insides of the turkey, while Bethany’s aunt has cast a spell on a knife to cut the vegetables up and she is now pointing her wand at the pots and cast a spell to sent them over to the stave. After a few minutes’ Hermione and Bethany walks out of the kitchen and head downstairs to the basement to see what Bethany uncle and Hermione dad is up to. Bethany uncle and Mr. Granger look up from the toast they are working on to see both Bethany and Hermione stand on the last step of the staircase. Bethany leads Hermione the rest of the way into the basement and show Hermione the bathroom that is down there and the two extra bedrooms and just like most of the other rooms in the house all the rooms in the basement are paint gold. Bethany and Hermione head back up stairs and they go into the parlor. The two girls walk over to the bookshelves and look at the books. Bethany grabs Quidditch through the ages of the shelf and then goes and set down on the couch. Hermione grabs Hogwart a History off the shelf then goes and takes a set down to Bethany. They stay in the parlor and read till they are call for dinner an two and half hours latterly. Hermione and Bethany put the books away and then run into the dinner room and take a set at the table. Bethany set down on Tonks right sides and Hermione set down on Tonks-left hand sides across from her mom. Tonks is setting across from Hermione dad. Ted at the end of the table by the door lead into the setting room. Andromeda set at the other end of the table by the door to the kitchen. Ted’s Picks up the serving plate the turkey is on and he starts to pass it around the table after he gets some for himself. Mr. Granger pass around a plate with chipolata after he places one on his and his wife plates. Hermione picks up the bowl with the sweets potatoes in the bowl and she dish some onto her plate then pass to Mr. Tonks. Once they finish eat the meal Tonks bring a plate full of Pumpkin Pasties out and Andromeda brings a Cauldron Cakes into the dinner room. Mr and Mrs. Granger tries a pumpkin pasties and a piece of the Cauldron Cakes since they never had either of them before. Once Mrs. Granger help Bethany aunt clean up, she and her husband go and say good bye to they daughter then leave to head home. Since it is getting late and it been a long day for everyone Tonks and Hermione head upstairs. Hermione and Tonks get ready for bed, then Hermione head into the guest room and turn in for the night and Tonks goes into her room and goes to bed. Bethany walks into the training room downstairs and grabs a handful of stakes and her extra crossbow and arrows. She uses the bathroom then head out for a long night of slaying.

And then the roar. All the students jumped, some fearful, some simply curious. "Wait, here." Valencia told them as she hurried from the room. Naturally, everyone ignored her order and followed. Outside was an awe-inspiring sight. Nikolaus had his wand pointed at a dragon, which was becoming more real by the minute. Geneve was standing beneath, her fingers outstretched, as if controlling it. Everyone was screaming. With lightning fast speed, Valencia whipped out her wand, and uttered a spell. The dragon began to shrink. On any normal dragon, the spell would have simply ricocheted off the dragon's hard scales. But this dragon was the product of transfiguration, and therefore not quite so durable. Valencia could see that NIkolaus was shrinking it too, and with a burst, the dragon became a unicorn once more. Turning away from Nikolaus, Valencia shrunk the unicorn and put it in her robes. There was no telling how much magic still resided within it's stone depths. "You, come with me. To the headmistress, [i]now[/i]." Valencia beckoned to Nikolaus. Her expression was stone, her eyes flickered deadly like the fire that had just been extinguished. "You, too, Geneve, Professor Sprague wants to speak to you about your latest homework assignment." Without another word, Valencia turned and set off for Galena's office at a brisk pace, Nikolaus and Geneve following behind her.

He slowly came to remember what had happened last night, and when he looked at his watch, he groaned. It was half-way into his first potions class. He rolled out of bed and crawled over to the sink. He splashed his face with cold water, and pulled on some jeans and a T-shirt. The knocking persisted. "Coming, I'm coming." He opened the door. A little girl was standing there. "Professor- Hey, you aren't Professor Slughorn," she squeaked. Damien rubbed his eyes as he said, "He resigned. I'm his replacement. Please, just take a seat, I had a long night." The little girl did as told. He finally looked out over the classroom. There were a bunch of children wearing Ravenclaw robes. Then he asked, "Can somebody tell me which year this is?" All of the children yelled "First years!" "Ok, my name is Professor Nomare. I am replacing Professor Slughorn as your potions teacher. So, can somebody please tell me what Slughorn had you do last?" The same girl who'd been knocking raised her hand. "Yes, Ms., um, Ms.-" "Arian. Laura Arian." "Well, Ms. Arian, can you please tell me what you studied last time?" "Well, Professor just had us get to know everybody." Damien wasn't surprised in the least. Slughorn had not too honorable rumors about his singling out of students to put into his own personal club. He recalled back to his first day of potions class when he himself had gone to Hogwarts.. "Ok, first things first. By show of hands, how many of you have a grudge with somebody in this class?" The entire class raised their hands. "Ok, I don't care what they did to you, what happens outside of this class stays outside of this class. Any arguing will result in loss of house points. Horseplay or actual fights will result in detention, and repeated offenses will result in Parent-teacher conference, and I'm sure that parents don't want to take time out of their busy schedules to deal with misbehaving children. Potion-making is a very dangerous art and hundreds of Japanese wizards are killed each day by incorrectly made potions." All of the children looked ahead attentively, they obviously had thought that this was going to be an easy class, thanks to Slughorn. Damien would need to change that. "So," he said, clapping his hands together. "Who wants to play a game." The students looked astonished as he said the word game. Some even slacked back in their chairs. "We are going to make a potion together. And we will feed it to my monkey." The class looked in awe as Suge jumped out of Damien's room and climbed up Damien's shoulder. Just because Damien was going to make the class work hard didn't mean he was going to make them hate the class. "Here's what we'll do. I'm mainly doing this because I don't know any of you. I'm going to get out everything you need to make the potion, and I'm going to write the instructions on the board. Then each of you will come up, introduce yourselves, and do a step in the potion. When it's all done, we'll feed it to my monkey." So, Damien rummaged through the cupboards, and pulled out a cauldron, green beans, tinder, a ladle, nirnroot leaves, knives, and banana tree leaves. Then he set it all on a table at the front of the classroom, and wrote the instructions on the board. Then, "Aaaaannnd GO!" The class began following the steps on the board, and introducing themselves. Damien did his best to remember every name. Eventually, the potion was finished. Damien had been smart in his choice of potion. Every student had gotten to go up exactly once. Then Damien took a flask for every student, filled them, corked them and set them on the students' desks. Then he took a vial and and filled it with the leftover potion. "So," he yelled. "Who wants my monkey to drink this?!!!" The class cheered. "I cant here youuuuuuuu!" The class was on its feet cheering. Then Damien gave the potion to Suge, who drank the whole vial. The class quited down as it waited for something to happen. Then Laura yelled, "Look at its fur!!!" Suge's fur had changed to a stark green. Then Damien lead the class in an applause saying, "Congratulations. You just made green hair dye. Twenty points to Ravenclaw." The class cheered some more. "Now, take out a piece of parchment and write down the instructions on the board, titled 'Green Hair Dye.' Study it. You'll have a quiz next class. You can keep the flasks of potion on your desks. Class dismissed."
