Overall I really enjoyed the film.
I loved the Ministry of magic - especially the battle between Voldemort and Dumbledore - very cool!
The book wasn't too fresh in my mind though, maybe that's why I enjoyed it - I wasn't too aware of all the things changed/cut out....... Hmm, I dunno. Things cut out/changed in the movies never really bothered me anyway

I quite enjoyed it personally. I know they left a lot out but I owuld have hated to fit that much information into a movie. my husband hasnt read any of the books ( I know I cant believe it either!
) and really enjoyed the film.

Alan recognized a blonde haired Gryffindor who he thought was in her sixth year. Sydney her name was. He tapped her on the shoulder while still keeping Roger up-right.
"Would you mind if I got in front of you? I think that my friend is in really bad shape," he asked her.
But Roger spoke before the girl could answer. He murmured one sentence."I'm not dead yet." Alan smiled for the third time that night. Monty Python and the Holy Grail always had been his favorite muggle film. Alan's mother had shown it to hm, Roger, and, Willi over a summer that he remembered quite clearly but felt like a life-time away.
The girl let the two boys pass by her."Thanks. Your name is Sydney right?"

I adore Mad-eye Moody.
I just loved him the moment I read Goblet of fire and, surprisingly, loved him even more after seeing the film.
I just think he'd be awesome to know and you could learn a lot from him.

I know this is old now, but what the hey! I'm answering anyway (no rhyme intended!
)
I chose Grawp - in the book he was on the kinda boring/pointless side. Though I have to admit, in the film he was quite sweet

Of course you're not.
I thought it was good when I was actually watching it, but after I got out I realized that all the sugar must've gone to my head.
It was an abomination, in my opinion. I strongly disliked this film, expecially because I LOVED the book.

A quick mention about not posting links to sites which use unauthorised images (from Harry Potter movies, other film or music stars, etc):
Please don't post links to sites using unauthorised images. As an example, one site in a post now removed from BaO boasted of over 20,000 wallpapers. That site was making money for itself from a huge number of basically stolen images - edited/cropped/enhanced photos which belong to copyright holders of those images. Such copyright holders have a right to charge for usage of their images if they wish.
You can see an example of the costs for legal usage of images at http://www.fotosearch.com/estock-photo/ (click on any image, and on the next page choose "Internet" from the drop-down box marked "Usage", for the idea of the cost to legally use images).
Consider that those image at estock-photo are not of famous people. Then think of how much extra it could then cost for legal usage of pictures from movies or of movie stars....and how much over 20,000 images would cost and you can see how grand a scale of a problem (and effectively how grand a scale of copyright infringement, ie theft from the copyright holders) this is.
