Well for anyone else looking to read the full set its recommended that you actually start with The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe as Magician's Nephew was written last I beleive and should be read last as it explains everything but its more the sort of thing you'd want to read last really.
I'm also reading through the set though, lost count how many times I've read them, currently on The Voyage of the Dawn Treader myself which is bound to be the next film.
Silver Chair is my favourite purley (not purple, brain where?) because of the old BBC tv series they made in the 80's. I've actually seen some of the places they filmed the Silver Chair episodes of that.

You are so right Fawkes! GOF is my favourite book but PoA is a much better film!

Up till I was 10 I wanted to be a Post-Lady. I then saw one get attacked by a dog, so I changed and wanted to be a Photographer. O have now changed into wanting to work behind-the-scenes on films, theatre, music videos or live concerts.
In another year, I plan to head to the NZ Drama and Film School. Where I want to major in Performing Arts Management and also Entertainment Technology. I also want to do a Creative Technologies Degree majoring in Digital Media.
=] Big dreams for me.
But if not, I'd like to work in Print of Digital Advertising

[red][b]Entertainment Weekly’s early look at the new Harry Potter movie just a got a whole lot earlier. In a last-minute move, Warner Bros. has just announced that the studio is pulling Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from its fall lineup and rescheduled it for July 17, 2009. In an irony sure to set blogger hearts beating giddily, the film graces the cover of EW’s new fall preview issue, which hits stands today. EW and Warner Bros. share a parent company, but they clearly do not share, you know, important friggin’ information.

I can't believe so many really liked the film that murdered my favourite character! And for that pure reason I have gone for POA when he actually comes into the series. I've watched it so many times, I now have to buy a new DVD of it as I've worn it out!
Also in OOTP they missed out so much, proper coverage of the Quidditch World Cup, the teenage angst stuff that I found really funny in the book and there were things I imagined in my head that didn't come across on screen like I imagined, eg. when the globes were broken in the book, out emerged a wispy ghost like image which replayed the prophecies. Sure there were wispy bits but where were the prophecies?

At the moment, it says mugglenet.com is "currently offline, please try again later".
This moring, the front page had been replaced by a photoshopped picture of a GoF film poster, with some mocking phrases at the bottom.
Apparently, there was an attached audio file that gave away spoliers about the last book.
Anyone know what's going on?

Overall I really enjoyed the film.
I loved the Ministry of magic - especially the battle between Voldemort and Dumbledore - very cool!
The book wasn't too fresh in my mind though, maybe that's why I enjoyed it - I wasn't too aware of all the things changed/cut out....... Hmm, I dunno. Things cut out/changed in the movies never really bothered me anyway
