Inu crouched down beside Neko and scanned the park expertly, checking for anyone who may have followed. He turned to look at her and saw that he should not move her again. From the jarring of apparating, some of the wounds on her stomach had reopened, and they were bleeding and yellow under her nightdress. He winced at the sight if it. She would die if he couldn't get Damien to help her soon. He did not have the raw knowledge to heal people like Damien did.
Like an answer to a prayer Inu caught sight of Damien and Ouki apparating near some older trees near to the centre of the park. His heart lifted, and he turned to Neko. "I'm going to get some help for you, so we can get out of here. Damien has just arrived. " Inu got behind Neko and pulled her along as gently as he could so she could sit up near against a tree. He took off his cloak and wrapped her in it. She was in a cold sweat, a high fever. Inu felt himself crushing inside. He would not loose her, not after everything they had been through. He set out across the park.
Ouki was walking in wide circles, obviously checking for anyone who might have followed them. Inu was glad they had chosen the same leap point, but it was foolish too. Each of them were supposed to apparate to different areas to throw off their scent, and then move to the allocated meeting point where there was at least inconspicuous transport to take them out of the city and far from there.
"Damien!" Inu called. Ouki turned at the sound of Inu's voice.
"Inu!" Ouki sounded relieved.
"Are they following, Ouki?" Inu asked.
"No, I burned the hideout. The fire should throw off the trace elements of our apparations." Ouki reported.
"Excellent. Well done then. Now, Damien." Inu turned to Damien. Inu sighed and extended his hand. "Can we put aside our differences? Neko is just over there, and the travel has caused her wounds to rupsure. She needs your help."

Damien didn't answer Inu. He simply moved the werewolf aside as he walked to Neko's broken body. She was bleeding again, and it was soaking through her nightgown. He swore to himself. Why did the freaking police have to come?

The fact that the safehouse was in flames made his supplies severely inadequate. Reaching into his potions jacket, he poured a Draught of Living Death down Neko's throat. It would slow her heart rate, less blood flow, giving Damien more time to heal her.

Several loud cracks made him swear some of his more obscene swear words. "HOW THE HECK DID THE AURORS FOLLOW US?!!! OUKI, INU, COVER ME!!!" As the other two began dueling, Damien tried to think what to use. He cringed as a Stupefy glanced off of his shoulder. Looking over at the other two, he yelled "FREAKING COVER ME!!!"

Yuta waited at the selected meet-up point. Where were they? She checked her watch. Half and hour had passed since the police first came. A lot could happen in half an hour. Yuta pulled out her wand, deciding to risk a message. It would be nearly untracable, detectable only by the most sophisticated of methods. Placing her wand point-down upon the top of her head, Yuta whisperd a few choice words of her own making, then murmured the message softly. With a flick her arm was fully extended, and it was as if a rush of wind and sped past her. The message would find Inu, she was sure. All he had to do was think a reply, the spell requiring no answering enchantment to send back word. Perfect.

Inu expertly fired spell after spell at the Aurors, but they were moved too well. He glanced at Ouki, who noticed and knodded. They started to move in a wide circle, herding the Aurors into the middle. Eventually, their curses starte to hit them, and Inu's confidence improved. More sounds of apparation, and Inu had to turn and fight from both sides. Suddenly he felt some pressing thought enter his head. "Where are you?" it was Yuta. The clever girl had sent a message. She was safely at the meeting point. Inu thought back. "Compromised. Under attack. Aurors." He continued to fend off the Aurors as much as he could, but they were closing in. Outnumbered. Ouki looked at Inu and said "Get behind them!" Inu obeyed. Ouki crouched down and stared to chant. A stupify spell hit her in the chest and she fell over, but not before the water feature in the park started to change shape. The Aurors turned in horror as the water climbed higher and higher in tiny snake like twirls. The Auror closest to it was taken first. The strings of water flew up his nose and into his mouth and eyes, and the man fell to the ground choking and gasping and drowning. But when Ouki was stupified again, she layed still, and the water fell to the ground, sending a flood across the park, knocking over several Aurors. Everyone was drenched. Was it enough of a deversion? "Can you carry her?" Inu yelled to Damien. He knodded. Inu ran over to pick up Ouki, and the four started to run across the rode while the Aurors collected themselves. What were they going to do? They needed more help. Would Yuta know where to find them? Inu hoped that she would. He smiled at the thought of her sending them realing with one tiny slice of her poisoness nails.

Yuta felt Inu's reply as if he were standing right next to her. Compromised. They'd need her help. But where were they? Yuta thought hard, struggling to trace Inu's message... Yes! Yuta turned on the spot and Apparated.
The scene that met her eyes next was chaos. Aurors were swarming, but none seemed to have noticed her yet. THat would soon change. Yuta carefully put two fingers in her mouth and blew, a piercing whistle ringing throughout the area. Everyone stopped for a moment, except for Inu, who cast a glance at her but then turned swiftly to tend to their fallen friends. Doesn't miss much, him, she thought to herself as she beckoned to the Aurors to come closer. Damn, she thought to herself as they instead raised their wands for ranged attacks. Time to reveal something else about she'd hoped to keep hidden for a while longer... Ah well, no help for it now.
Yuta walked towards the nearest Auror, who fired a stunning spell at her. Stopping for a moment upon it's impact, Yuta experienced the taste of morphine in her mouth from the spell as she let it pass through her, into an Auror creeping up from behind and giving her a slight energy boost, leaving her unscathed before a very frightened wizard. "Hello," she said cordially, walking up to his side as he was still frozen in shock. Placing a hand on his shoulder, she dug in her nails...

Show-off. Damien spat on the ground as he fire-man carried Ouki. Curses were zooming and flying by him like a fireworks show, a few glancing off of him here and there. He kept going though. Even Inu was readily retreating, which meant the situation was worse than they'd ever experience. After all, two of their fighters was incapacitated, another was missing, and two of them had to cover the incapacitated fighters. Very bad..

Thundering on as fast as he could, Damien tried desperately to outrun the Aurors as Yuta fought them. He didn't care where, all he knew was that he had to get out of there. With Neko's slowed heartrate, she'd be able to survive for another several hours, even though she had lost a lot of blood. The only way that she would survive, though, would be if they made it out without being captured.

He fell face forward to the mud as a Stupefy curse hit him squarely across the back. Tumbling to the ground, he accidentally let go of Ouki as she rolled a few feet from him. He could hear an Auror yell out a cry of triumph. Spitting up blood, Damien turned around onto his back and yelled the killing curse, and watched with satisfaction as the auror fell to the ground.

Wobbling as he got up, he started making his way to Ouki as another Stupefy hit him in the back, knocking him downwards onto Ouki. Damien shuddered as blood began to seep from his back into his shirt, and the shock of his ribcage being rattled stopped his breathing. for a few seconds.

Recovering, pulled Ouki's arm around his neck as he tried to lift her up, only to be shot in the same spot by another Stupefy. Falling with a heavy splash into the mud, Damien's vision blurred and darkened. blood was now pouring freely from his back, and his breathing was almost completely stopped. His muscles felt like led, and his bones felt as heavy as steel.

His feet slipped as he desperately tried to stand again. His back ached with pain as he fell back to the ground. Coughing up blood, he could see his vision darken completely. Desperately, Damien tried to stand again. He made it to his knees before falling back down. His blood was drenching him, and his breathing was nearly as slow as Neko's, and his muscles had failed him completely.

He had one last chance. Reaching into his potions jacket, he pulled out a vial. It had a few drops of the stuff he had used to fight Inu. He had saved the vial from a previous encounter with a werewolf. His hands shaking, Damien tried to reach the vial up to his mouth. His hands were shaking so bad. They were white as snow from lack of blood. He tried to bring the vial to his lips, but couldn't do so. Damien couldn't hold his hands still enough.

Then his hands felt something odd. Something soft was holding them steady. As he poured the few drops down his throat, Damien's vision began to clear, and he saw a hand. He looked at Ouki, and saw that she was helping him. She gave him the potion.

As his strength began to somewhat come back, Damien lifted Ouki. As he was standing, another Auror fired a Stupefy at him. But before it could hit him, Damien dissapparated. He was going through the swirling colors and sounds around him, desperately trying to stay conscious enough to concentrate on where he wanted to go. Damien could feel his focus blurring, his muscles relaxing. He was going to lose control and splinch them both.

"I WON'T MESS UP!!!" He yelled as he landed. The last bit of determination had gotten him where he had needed to go. Damien slowly looked around at his tree house. It looked the same as it had when he'd left it. Looking down, he saw that Ouki was unconscious again. Then he felt the effects of his potion wear off, and he fell to the floor unconscious.

Inu put down Ouki and turned to Damien. "Stay here." he growled. He reached into his cloak, which was still around Neko, and pulled out a vial. He drank it fast, and his body started to phase to animal. It did not phase completely, but enough to be terrifying, and strong. Inu charged across the street, and lept over Yuta as she tore into the flesh of one of the Aurors. He landed in the middle of two stunned wizards, who tried to stun him just before he grabbed them both and smashed their heads together. Yuta and Inu continued to pick them all off one by one. Body parts and blood, screams and puss and convulsion filled the park. Inu was panting for breath when he realised there were no more coming. He noticed one wizard on the ground, still too alive for his liking. He approached him and grabbed him by the scruff of his shirt, lifting him off the ground.
"You can never defeat us." he hissed, and snapped the man's neck. Inu knew the ministry would gather reports from muggle sightings. He needn't let anyone live. He turned to Yuta. "Thank you for being so prompt." he knodded.

Ouki woke up slowly. She was drenched, and cold. She could hear wind going through leaves. It took her a few moments to register the fact that she was on an unfinished wood floor. Then she opened her eyes.

She screamed as she saw Damien lying on the floor in front of her, covered completely in blood. He was barely breathing, his chest hardly moving at all. Blood was flowing freely from his back, and his eyes were closed.

[Take it away with the treatment, Distortia. I was just posting so that you wouldn't have to double post. Tee hee.]

Ouki started searching through Damien's coat, trying to find the right vial to fix him. She pulled several potions out, but had no idea what they were. "Tell me what to do!"she screamed at Damien, who layed perfectly still. Ouki took off her jumper, which was soaked anyway, and used it to apply pressure to Damiens cuts. He groaned when she did this. "THat's right. "she said. "Stay with me. Don't you dare let go! We've got so much more that we have to do." Ouki tried to look around. She had no idea where they were. Damien stirred a bit and opened his eyes. Ouki put her hand on his face. "Damien! Stay awake! You're hurt, and I don't know what to do!" He smiled a tiny smile at her. "Water."he croaked. Ouki laughed. She used her wand to pull the moisture from the air into a cone of fluid, then she put it to Damien's lips and he drank all it deeply.

Damien took a deep drink. It was refreshing. He kept drinking for several seconds, taking in gulp after gulp. After finally finishing, he smiled a deep smile. "Thank you for the water, but I have one last request of you."

Ouki smiled as she stroked his hair. "Yes?"

Damien coughed. "I need for you to give me stitches on my cut."

Ouki turned green. She had a thirst for blood and pain, but when it was happening to someone she cared about, she wasn't sure how she would take it. "What... what will I do it with?" she said softly.

Damien coughed even harder, blood mixing with his phlegm as it came out. "Ouki," he croaked. "You know I wouldn't ask if it wasn't absolutely necessary." Then, taking a deep breath, he said. "There's some thread in my-" He gave a heavy cough as more blood came out. "I'm about to pass out. I won't feel any pain. There is some thread in my potion's jacket. You can use your wand to thread it through. Make sure it's tight." With that, Damien passed out again.

Ouki swallowed hard and then set to work. She got behind Damien and pushed his up to sitting. Then she pulled off his jacket and his shirt so his wounds were exposed. His back was really messed up, there were three deep cuts and the blood was black - a sign that the cuts had hit the arteries. She rolled him onto his front, turning his head to the side so he could breath, and then put some thread into the needle she had found in Damien's jacket. She put the sharp point to his skin and pierced it. She was no amature to slicing human skin, but she didn't want to hurt him, so she was caucious. She knew how to sew, thanks to her mother, so she treated it like a mending job, stiching tightly and closely, closing up the wound. She tore bits of her jumper and used her water trick to rinse away the blood as the wounds pressed together. She washed Damien's back so that it was clean. His skin was smooth and pale. She sat back, admiring him, in spite of the tracks of stiches on his back. He was breathing better. SHe curled up beside him, pushing her body close to try to warm him up. All their clothes were wet. She pointed her wand into the corner of the tree house and said "Lumus incendus" and a small fire appeared, controlled in the corner. She flicked her wand, and the fire sent a wave of heat around them, drying them and their clothes. She pulled Damiens coat over him and herself, and waited for him to wake up.

Damien was standing in a giant wasteland. The scene was gray and dismal, the only exeption being the bodies of the thousands of dead lying there. Many were contorted in twisted and demented ways. Some had parts of their bodies missing, while parts of a persons body were all that were left. The were all just lying there, rotting corpses.

Then a voice resounded over the entire wasteland, a dark, powerful voice, saying the words, "Rise." It was impossible to tell where the words were coming from, as they resounded everywhere. They echoed over the field, several times, eerily never seeming to go away, even after they had stopped echoing.

Damien saw some movement in the field. The bodies were beginning to stir. Several were already standing, and walking. Towards Damien. Damien tried to turn to run, but found that he was chained to a rock. The zombies began to come towards him, their grotesque visages saying the same phrase over and over. "You killed us. You killed us. You killed us."

The first body came and sank it's teeth into Damien's shoulder. Damien screamed in pain, as it tore a chunk of his flesh out. Then more came, and screamed in pain and terror. Another began feasting upon his flesh, this time on his left leg. And another, and another. Damien had his heart eaten out, his throat ripped from him, and he still found that he could scream. Then a loud resounding question came into his ears. "Why did you kill us Damien?"

Damien woke up, his body sweating, the sweat stinging his stitches. He could feel Ouki curled up next to him under his jacket. Her heavy breathing signified that she was asleep. Damien opened his eyes. Moonlight was flooding into the room. Making sure not to wake Ouki, he got up, and walked out of a door. He was standing on a balcony, overlooking the forested island. A Waxing Gibbous was high up in the sky, reflecting across the ocean.

He was startled as Ouki put her hand on his shoulder. He had woken her up. "Are you ok?" he asked.

"I'm fine," was Ouki's reply. "Where are we?"

"My home. It's in a deserted part of the world. Not even Inu or the Muggles know of its existance. I found it while exploring the Pacific. Nearly every single potion ingrediant is on this island. We will stay here until we heal and until I can restock my potions."

Inu made his way back to where he had left Damien, Ouki and Neko and found that only Neko remained. He felt a pang of annoyance that Damien had, once again, not followed instructions. He was a bad influence, to say the least, and he had put them all in danger by taking the reckless way out and basically destroying the police. They had one the battle with the ministry for now, but now, they were really on the run. None of them had ever been caught by the Ministry, and they weren''t going to start now. Inu growled. His body was still in partial phase. Inu noticed something and started to walk across the street. So many witnesses. There was a trail of blood, and it ended abruptly after about 10 meters. The blood smears indicated that the person was injured, badly. Damien? Ouki? Where were they? Inu sniffed the air. He turned and yelled "What are you staring at?!" the people who were stopping to stare carried on. "Yuta, could you send out a magnetic pulse and put out the power? 'We don't want any phone calls to the police again, do we?" He spoke as she approached his side. She had not fled, and this pleased him. "Now, what do you suggest we do now?"
