I recently got my Harry Potter DVD! Sadly, I haven't had time yet to watch it, but I did look at some of the special features on Disc 2. They are [i:hldryri6]very[/i:hldryri6] cool. I was just wondering if anyone else got the DVD already and what they thought of it.

I really liked it... I got it the day it was released and the one thing that really irked me was finding the deleted scenes. I eventually did, but not until I was forced to search the internet to discover how! I knew they had to be in the Mirror of Erised! It was just a matter of knowing where THAT was; though I must admit that I thoroughly enjoyed the extended Potions scene! Other than that, I remembered how much I liked the Quidditch match (I haven't seen it in six months so I had forgotten how well done that was). My parents must have thought that I was nuts when I watched it with them- I was quoting lines and making noises every time a Slytherin walked onto the screen, as well as screaming out things like, "But James was a CHASER!" What more can I say?

Hello, my name is chrestomanci, and I am a full-fledged Harry Potter addict!

I never got through all of the special features. They got sort of boring after a while, and my sister was going insane listening to the guy at the owl imporium. Have you tried the DVD-Rom features yet? I haven't gotten that far.
