how come he doesnt give a trusted friend in the forum some powers that he has. i have seen people wanting diffrent things(ex: avatars, questions, etc.) how come he doesnt just get some one to help him out and give them all the same things he can do. or what if he made a commity?

Paul owns the site as his business. maybe he just doesn't want to entrust it to someone on the other side of his internet connection.

I doubt you can give anyone a few powers...I think he would have to make someone an admin...the more admins you have the more risk someone screws up and the forum gets destroyed...

I think its fine the way it is, avatars are not vitally important...prefects can sort people and look after posts and the like so just be patient until he has time to check the forum.

Its not just a forum, the forum is part of a website, look at the url in your address bar and then delete forum from it and you will find the rest of the website....
