i agree with the whole WWII allegory...exactly the way i was picturing it...i see Fudge as umbrella boy (aka Neville Chamberlain) in denying Hitler's real means...I mean Chamberlains appeasment only worsened factors...the whole mudblood purgement and the hitler's final decison are too close for comfort...plus the whole thing with the allies...British (Hogwarts) French (Beaubaxtons) and Soviets (Drumstrang) is kinda cool...but where is the US? But its kinda interesting how Karkaroff was an ex DE and kinda evil, when Stalin was evil and had also made a non agressive pact with Hitler early in the war...hmmmm...i'm sure there is more but i'm really tired right now...maybe i'll look over Danny's notes

i agree that the next 2 books will be alot more in depth and alot darker, i do think that now that the word is out about voldemort and the ministry believes it, voldemort will kill alot of people, in 5 we learned more about james, and i think that in either 6 or 7 we will learn alot about lily

Yes, I'm really interested to knowmore about Lily!!! I'm still not giving up on the theory of mine that one of her parents was magical! Or possibly a squib! THe way they keep refering to Harry's eyes as beign just like him mum's makes me wonder what the big signifigance is!!!
