Anyway it is sure that Dumbledore offered himself as the Potters' Secret Kepper: it is said in Prisoner of Azkaban, by Hagrid and McGonagall, at The Three Broomsticks. But James and Lily refused, as I have already said, probably because they trusted James's friends most of all.

Wow... complexicated 
I was thinking that it would be odd for a PERSON to have a secret keeper, 'cause like you said, would they go invisible, or what? It just confused me 'cause someone -- who was it, i gotta go check -- said that Voldemort could "have his nose pressed against the Potter's living room window" and not see them. How would he find the window to press his nose against?

Albus: yeah, the Potters secret keeper, but for where they lived, thus the nose against their living roon window comment!
