Sorry, have to disagree. Would you consider your sister any less than a sister after she married - even if you didn't like the match?

But I know it might me true. Both my parents were cut off from their families for marrying each other. It took 20 years of marriage for them to realize they were wrong

Plus Sirius - cast out for rejecting the notion of pure-blood. And Percy, for casting out his family for not taking the official position on the ministry.

Well, as for my thoughts, I think that Kreacher will end up going to Narcissa, ebcause he's already run away once there, and she is part of the Balck family, Harry isn't. Kreacker proved that when he coudl lie to harry, godson or no godson.

Also, I like Hermy's suggestion. I think that hermoine's kindness may make Kreacher hate her even more for it, and it will possibly get her off all this SPEW stuff. After all, I cant' see her continuting with that forever!

Hrmm, that's about all from me!

Kreacher

Postby Sara8830 » Monday 15 September 2003 8:13:36pm

I don't know... it might be kind of funny if Harry did inherit Kreacher. You know he would not be able to take him to school and he would have to leave him at "home"... and where is home? Exactly... with Petunia. And of course Kreacher wouldn't listen to the Dursley's because they are not his master but he would be bound to the house. Boy that would cause alot of problems for Harry during the summer... and alot of comedy while he is away at school.

Mu gosh! Aunt Petunia woudl go beserk! But it woudl be funny though!

But in all seriousness, I cant' see it ahppening. We never really hear much about the Dursleys while Harry is at Hogwarts, sicne the story is about the magical world, so yeah!

Hey, I just noticed something while writing... Kreatcher, house-elf with no master really anymore... Malfoys... masters with no house-elf anymore...
So maybe Kreatcher will really go over to Narcissa?

I thought the Houess Elves were bound to the home. Tell me if I am worng cos I have a feeling that it is the master they are bound to. Anyways maybe Sirius left the house to the Order....or Lupin.

Harry doesn't need it. He probably doesn't realy wan't it either, he would prob prefer the order had it. As long as the don't cut him off from the magical world again during the holidays.. :-)

Perhaps it's already been said, but how would Kreacher ever become Harry's? Even if Grimmauld Place was willed to Harry, Harry isn't related to Sirius. He isn't a blood relative...he is simply his Godson. I thought house-elves served blood relatives only...but maybe I'm wrong. Even if Kreacher stays in Grimmauld Place, why would Kreacher obey Harry when Harry has never been and never will be a blood relative? :???:

That's not to say I don't LIKE the idea...I do (though, I'd always be wary of Kreacher!), I just don't see how it could happen. Kreacher better watch out, though...Dobby seems extremely loyal to Harry, and you read/saw what Dobby did to Lucius when Lucius tried to attack Harry at the end of book 2? Nutty as Dobby can be, he'll be a good ally for Harry...I see him serving Harry (if he weren't already freed) of any of the house-elves. Kreacher is dangerous, to say the least...

I reckon that Kreacher will go to the Malfoys, cos Narcissa was Sirius`s cousin or something, withc means that shes got black blood in her. Kreatcher will go to the malfoy before going to harry if he could help it.

Kreacher's an evil little demon who deserves to be destroyed!
Anyone actually think Hermione will make it her life's work to free house elves? I don't see it...
I think the house-elves are actually tied to the family (Winky followed any Crouch's orders no matter where they were).

Well if Kreacher does go to the Black's then would they have to find as new headquarters for the order? Could kreacher tell them where it is?

Nope, Dumbledore is still the secret-keeper for the Order. There are certain things Kreacher can't tell, and certain things Kreacher can tell but it won't make sense, because no matter what Kreacher says, the Order's headquarters are safe since DD is the secret-keeper.
