I don't think pureblood families as a whole are connected with evil... more like, people who think that pureblood is the only and best way to be tend to be on the evil side... but there are numerous occasions when good people are pureblood... Tonks, the Weasleys, the Crouches (okay, they're a little questionable, but Barty Sr. is anti-death-eater, even if he's not a very nice fella), Ernie Macmillan, Neville...
