Now that Sirius is dead who will be Kreachers master? Narcissa? Bellatrix?

What will Kreacher be able to tell them? Is he still bound to Sirius' past commands? If not, he can tell Narcissa a lot of interesting things. At least Grimmauld place won't be a secret to the death eaters anymore.

it still will b/c dumbledore is still the secret keeper, and therefore the only person who would be able to tell someone about grimmauld place.

as for kreacher's master, narcissa is the obvious choice b/c that's who he went to when he left grimmauld place. but it may be possible that he didn't know where bellatrix was at that time and went to narcissa instead.

I think it will be Harry who is Kreachers master, because he is obviously Sirius' first choice as an heir and Kreacher is Sirius' property. That also means that Harry will be the new owner of Grimmauld Place.

Do you think kreacher will change if Harry treats him in a respectful way (if kreacher comes back at all, maybe house elfs are bound to blood so he would go with Narcissa or Bellatrix instead of Harry)..

If he changes, and starts to like Harry, maybe he could be very valuable asset to the order. He could then spy on Narcissa and perhaps even on Bellatrix.. mm I don't see it happening, but it could !

No matter how nice he is to Kreacher, I don't think he'll ever be able to change. He'll try to betray Harry at the first opportunity.

I think that it would make sense that Harry would be Sirius's heir, but how does that work in the magical world? Do they have wills and stuff like in the muggle world? I also dont think that Kreacher will ever change. He's a stupid little git whose set in his dark little ways. Maybe the blanket does mean something for Hermione, but not to Harry or the order. Maybe Kreacher will remember her kindness and do something to pay her back. And I'm quite sure that Harry would not be nice to Kreacher if he got him. Harry knows how much Sirius hated him, and now that Sirius is dead, Harry will probably go on hating who is godfather did.

I prefer the phrase no good deed goes unpunished. I can't see Kreacher changing in any signifigant manner. I hope he gets hit by a bus.

He has probably already run back to Narcissa for good, anyway. I'm willing to bet he's already there. Maybe if we're lucky, Dobby will be waiting outside the Manor for him with a Quidditch Beater bat.

I can't see Kreacher returning the favour to Hermione. He kept referring to her as a mudblood didn't he? It wouldn't surprise me if Kreacher does something to Hermione which will make her abandon her SPEW campaign.

I think Kreacher may change but I find that unlikely. He's in with Narcissa and furthermore House-elves are bound by magic to the family which means he's pretty much bound to Narcissa now.

As for Harry being nice to Kreacher I don't think so. Kreacher lied to Harry and thus is partly responsible for Sirius' death so I don't see how Harry could possibly forgive him.

I not sure abt this but since Kreacher is bounded to the Black family, shouldn't Narcissa and Bellatrix be considered out of the Black cos they now belong to the Malfoy and Lestrange family branch?
