I know Ron is talking about the skrewts but as I have stated before that divination or predicting is not an exact science. You can say something will happen and get the timing wrong but it will still happen.

Iagree with Mach; for it seems that they were clues from Jo about what will happen laterin the book.

It does seem to work out htat way, no?

I like the idea that ROn will ahve something where he is better at it than harry... it gives him something, so, as you put it Broken, he's not just the emotional suposrt and comic relief character!!!

Okay another piece of evidence that Harry may have the power of Divination has come up as I read further into GOF. When Harry is in Divination class he falls asleep and has a dream that he goes to the Riddle house and see's Voldemort, Wormtail, and Nagini (the giant snake). How could he be seeing all this if not through his power of Divination. It's on page 575-577.

brackets usually work just as well as j/k or  its usually quite clear either way.

i hope ron is a diviner (don't know if that is the rifght word), it'd be really good as well, because that wouldn't really be the power he'd want because he really hates divination

i thinkthat it really should be just ron with the power of divination b/c it would set him apart from all the other characters

surely harry's power is just from his scar to see voldemort, because they are inextricably linked?

I would have to agree with draco on that b/c he can sense when voldi is near so why not be able to see him in his sleep

I think that Broken made a great point earlier about Ron's ability at chess. The game and Ron have been linked since PS, and we know that chess is the one thing that Ron excells at. I recently began playing chess because it's always intrigued me, and I love that fact that you're forced to think ahead in order to succeed at it. I've wished, many a time, that I was gifted with the sense of foresight! But anyway, it would make sense, that were Ron to have this ability, then he'd do quite well at things like chess, where you need to be able to predict future events, to a certain degree.

Good point, Blaise and Broken! Chess does kinda go well with the ability of seeing into the future!

AN dyes, Harry's dreams about Voldie really aren't about the future, are they... they are the present, just in a different place!

I do hope that Ron gets this ability, and Harry doesn't!
