She will realise that studying isnt everything :D

This is Hermoine we're talking about, right? (tee-hee-hee  )

Nah, I'm sure that when she (and Ron) realise that their constant bickering translates to that they really do have feelings for one another, she will also realise that study isn't everything!

(And who knows, maybe she will have more power of persuasion to convince Ron to put more effort into study!) :D

I have to say, Hermoine and Ron have something between them, something they are not mature enough to realize. It's difficult being a teenager, and when lines are crossed between friendship and love, things happen. Their little spats with each other are a mask for their true feelings for each other. It's just easier to fight off your true feelings and wear a mask of indifference instead of exposing your feelings and risking rejection.

I think i am one of the few people who really hates the idea of Ron and Hermione. I just think that it would really detract from the story if they ended up with some jealous love triangle type thing between them. I mean if this happened Harry would become a complete third wheel, he would always feel uncomfortable around them, and would just generally make the whole friendship strained.
I think that if the three of them are to have love interests it would be best kept separate from themselves.. ie Hermione and Krum, Harry and Cho etc

i don't think any of that will happen if ron and hermione were to have a relationship.I think if anything it will make ron and harry's & hermione and harry's friendship alot stronger.I know when two of my friends went out we were alot closer and i found it alot easier to find something else to do on the weekends. i mean i got a bf alot faster b/c i wasn't worried about them fighting all the time and we would double date and it was so much fun!so if anything i think they will become closer.

I dont know, i suppose it could work. But as we saw in book 5 harry felt left out enough when hermione and ron were prefects and he wasn't.
Harry has always been the centre of attention and to an extent doesn't cope too well when he isn't. He's been so angry throughout a lot of the book he'd probably just feel really left out.
I just cant see him being all supportive of them getting together

If I'm allowed to complete, I'd say: Ron and Fleur...
She could be three years older than he is... but... who knows??? It could be interesting... AND, she's in England, at Gringott's, I think. It would be absolutely funny to watch such a relationship.

well, harry will just have to learn the lesson that he is not the center of attention. itz part of a lesson of growing up

Harry has said several times that Hermoine is just a friend, just as Ron is. Harry has no romantic interest in Hermoine (particularly revealed in GOF), and only wishes Ron the best (like in his Quidditch keeper tryouts).

Ron has behaved with jealousy when Hermoine turned her attention to another man (Krum). Harry didn't care. Plus, Harry acted with jealousy when Cho fancied another (Cedric). But at the end of OotP, Harry didn't care about Cho and her feelings about him. He's grown up; become a man far faster than most people did.

Harry carries the weight of responsibility more than any other person alive. He hates the idea of killing (he spared Peter in POA), but he has to make a choice in the future - kill or be killed. I think he'll find a third way... one where Voldemort casts a spell which backfires and kills himself.

Hrmmm, this is a bit of a tough one. I can see both sides of it... and I'm not really sure which one I think will happen. :-?

I agree that Harry finds himself at a loss when he isn't the centre of attention, and so would probably find it really hard having Ron and Hermoine, 2 or the trio, dating.
:( OOh  , just though of this...
But at the same time, it's turning more into a bit of a six-some, if there's such a word... Harry, Ron, Hermoine, Ginny, Luna and Neville... so maybe he wont' feel so left out after all? :D

Also, I think that he would be happy for the two of them, and I cant' see them wanting to be all gushy and romatnic around Harry, and I'd guess that that's usually the cause of the third wheel feeling that people get in those situations.

So I'm not really sure what my point is at the end of this post! Just wanted to write what I was thinking on the topic!
hehehe!

Thats a good point Holly! :D There does seems to be the 6 of them that are becoming very close now. And while i think about it i cant exactly see Ron and Hermione being the kind of couple who disappear for romantic walks all the time, and act all mushy together. so i guess mayb it could work out alright.
But still i dont like the idea! sorry :-?
but i do however wanna see harry and ginny get together! i think that she really came into her own in this book, and then if then happened then it'd be ok for ron and hermione.... but that's just me!

Well, strangely enough, that's the union that I've previously always been against! It was just that Ginny didn't ahve a personality,y except to get embarrase when Harry was around, and honestly, she kinda got on my nerves!

I'm not sure wether I really want them to get together anymore, or possibly Luna? Not really sure, but I'm not against Ginny anymore! She's getting pretty cool!

Yeah i wondered about Luna after the fifth book, but i think she may be just a little bit too crazy for harry. she seems to just agree with anything that seems odd or unlikely, so it seems anything that is to do with harry! while she does argue with hermione i think it's just cause hermione needs proof for things that she believes in.
I dunno i think that harry and ginny suit for some reason... fingers crossed it'll happen in the next book
