Room of requirement

Harry and Ron always seem to be having problems doing there homework. So why don't they just walk around outside the room of requirement wishing for a room full of bits of completed homework? They could also wish for a weapon that would cause Voldemorts downfall. Why didn't they think of this wonderfully simple solution? 8)

Hrmm, not meaning to be a complete downer on your idea, but it's just one of those things that woudl wreck that plot I'd guess... Just like why they don't just give everyone suspected of being a DE some of that Versati... (truth telling potion) and find out for sure... There'd kinda jsut be no story after that...

it is called the room of requirement and not the room-with-something-you-require-inside-it, I mean that DD was needing to go to the toilets so a room with toilets appeared, Harry wanted a room to teach DADA, and there was a room with cushions and all, therefore maybe they could make a room that would kill LV appear, but then they would have to bring him inside ...

i see what you mean, i guess that they couldn't wish for individual things, it's a room to suit your needs.
And with regards to giving all the death eaters veritaserum (sp :-?) could you imagine how difficult it would be to get them to drink sumthing when they didn't know what it was. i mean they must be incredibly paranoid about being caught anyway!
