Professor Grubbly-Plank

We all know that JKR seems to put many characteristics of some characters in the name:
    1. Olympe Maxime (Olympe for the Olympe Mons in Mars, the greater in the solar system; Maxime for Maximum, biggest, ...).
    2. Severus Snape (Severus meaning strict).
    3. Salazar Slytherin (Salazar was a Portuguese dictator)
    etc.
So, what about Grubby-Plank? It's stated, at least in OotP, that his first name is Wilhelmina. This name is used in some Dracula story and there, Wilhelmina is a woman that Dracula bites, and that mutates in a vampire.

Do you think that she may be a vampire, I mean, an animagus that transforms into a vampire?

Well, an animagus is someone who transforms into an animal... I don't know if the vampires can be normal people... There are legends that they transform into bats at nights, but I think we would know by now... There were speculations about Snape being a vampire... And one of the arguments against it was for example that a vampire should be afraid of daylight and he isn't. The same is with Grubby-Plank I suppose.

But but she is so innocent..... :( I mean she is an average nice teacher with nothing special, no "extra spice" in her personallity like alot of other teachers have.

Yeah... I guess I haven't thought properly about the issue... The fact is that in the day I saw "The League of Extraordinaire Gentlemen" (there is a character named Whilelmina that is a vampire) I read a chapter in OotP and Grubbly-Plank was in it... I guessed it was too much of a coincidence, but then...

And about the other name... Does anyone know what does it mean? Parts of it?
