The DA

Postby Nobby » Monday 16 February 2004 3:47:58pm

Now that Umbridge has got the boot and that the Ministry has finally seen sense does anyone reckon the DA will continue? If so will Harry continue to be in charge? What will they learn next? 8) [/b]

despite the fact that umbridge has gone, there is no reason that the DA shouldn't continue, although they may get a teacher who will allow them to do practical in the DADA lessons, it could be an activity for those who wish to pursue this field!!

it could be like a club though couldn't it? where the need was there if people felt it to practice outside of lessons?

I don't believe DA continues because the students will have a new teacher of defence agaisnt the dark arts. I think this teacher will be competent because the situation is grave

Also, now that Harry has finished his OWLS, we don't really know how they teach the Dark Arts at NEWT level.

It may be that it's much more practical (like the DA) anyway.

Harry probably will come top of the year in DADA.

I don't think DA will continue. I think either Snape will get his wish to teach DADA or Aberforth will. I don't think it will be a new character anyway.

I think DA can continue, but supported by DD. Now that he is at Hogwarts again, he would really like to support a grupo like this one. Maybe he asks Lupin to go to the school and give extra DADA lessons, with Harry's help, during this DA

(Nah.. not too probable, but it's worth thinking!)

Imagine Snape as potions and DADA teaches. It can see it now...

Well, for starters they would have to get a new potions master if Snape did DaDA. I believe that he will get the job in book 7, if he does anything to prove DD`s trust in him.
