Ollivander and Fortescue

What happened to these guys? I personally think ollivander is evil, just because it would be good if he was, but i have no idea about Florean. Maybe they just disappeared to add atmosphere but i don't think so, i think there's something more....or maybe not, what are everyone else's thoughts?
