No time to read book 5

Postby Mint » Thursday 26 June 2003 2:34:20pm

Seriously!!!! Everytime I get home from work I have list of chores that I have to do that day. And Im not home on weekends - so they don't help either.

And I can't even post anything in the most active part of this forum, because i am still on chapter 5!!!!!

Not like anyone can help me - I just needed to vent. :crying:

Perhaps this doesn't solve your problem, but be comforted that (well, in my opinion) reading a book the first time is really special...enjoy it! I wish I had, but I was so eager for answers, and I had free time! :( But then again, "Forget regret, or life is yours to miss." (from the musical, "Rent"). Good advice! :D I hope you enjoy book 5 in the time you *do* have to read it . . . looking forward to your posts! :-)

Sometimes I feel myself left out, because everybody is discussing book 5 already and I am approximately there where you are, Mint... But on the other hand I know that I would regret reading the book too soon, so I take my time and just enjoy it.

Don't worry, when you've finished, whenever that may be, you'll be much happiers knowing that you took your time and picked up a lot more detail in it than those of us who sped through it and finished it already.

I feel you! I had no time until recently to even start the 5th book, and am now taking an hour every night to read approximately 50 pages. That way I can digest what has happened, and start thinking about what might happen next. Those people (take no offense, anyone) who rush out the day the book is released and finish it that night don't pick up small little things that are hints to what might happen in the next books, or during a discussion on the forum may not completely understand what is being discussed. Anyway, you enjoy a meal much better if you chew slowly! (quote from myself  ) Hope you enjoy the book!

It can be hard to work out things in a busy schedule. But try this. If one night you arent tired. Or its a weekend. get a booklight andread it at night. If that does not work. Well....all i can say is good luck. P.S. Its really fun to read at night. Just the small booklight and your book. You can concentrate better. Its so quiet.

Yes, I like to read at night, too... But you get tired when you usually get up early...

I hope you enjoy it anyway, Mint... by the way, I am now slower than you
