i don't know what to do...

i don't know why i'm posting this... i guess you all seem so friendly, and i don't really have anyone i can confide in at the moment.

you see... i'm at the end of my rope. all i've ever done is tried to help out, give support where it's needed, and try to make everyone happy... and my entire family tears my head off. :(

it's been happening every day for the past few weeks and it's driving me mad!! they all fight about the silliest things that just don't matter and then when i try to show them that all it's doing is ruining their relationship they gang up on me and yell at me! i'm so tired of it... i know that everyone needs to fight every now and then... but this is insane! every day! i'm pulling my hair out i just don't know what to do. i'd leave, but i know that they need me at the moment 'cause of other problems... i feel like i'm stuck. :-(

anyways... sorry for this post... i guess i just really don't know what to do anymore.

Well familys don't like to take advice from there own I'm afraid. Especially children and if you're the youngest sibling you will unfortunately be beaten down pretty much always.

Hopefully this will pass, and regretfully I would imagine the best advice would be to sit back and watch from the sidelines. Sometimes people have to learn things the hard way.

yeah, pretty much the best thing you can do is wait for the storm to pass, which i'm sure eventually it will. you could try to get your family to like go on a vacation or something just to get away from the grind of their everyday lives, this may or may not help but it could be worth a try. well, good luck and just hang in there.

my parents have rows and its horrable i hate it when i am in the same room i feel bad if i just leave but i dont like to stay either.

sometimes i try to stop them by saying something but it usually makes it worse.

I'm the youngest one and its really hard. usully though arguements pass over.

sometimes what works for me is just after an arguement when everything is a little unsettled but ok. i make a meal. everyone has to sit down together to eat and humour me.

First off, I'm so sorry that you're having family problems. I know how it sucks :-( , its not like when your friends fight, because you can't just leave, you're, like you said, stuck. Now, moving on, what is the best way to deal with this? Well, a lot of the times when like my sister and dad are fighting, I want to jump in and tell them how ridiklous (wow, I think that I spelt that wrong :-? ) they are being, and tell them the correct whatever or the right way to do this or that. But I find whenever I do that, I just end up being yelled at! Is this what it's like for you? I find that when the rest of the family is fighting, the best thing to do is go to my room and clean, or go on the computer and do homework or just talk to my friends on the phone. Just do something productive, you know to keep busy and not think about what's going on. If they are fighting, its not your fault, so why get involved? Why get yourself yelled at or in trouble? That's my opinion on the matter though. But it will all pass. It's just a phase, it wont last forever. I hope that you are feeling better really soon :)

*gives a hug*

thanks so much you all!! i've pretty much decided i'm going to be moving out again... but until then i guess all i can really do is let them fight. :(

oh well. i'll keep myself busy, like you suggested accio, and hopefully it wont be so bad.

*hugs you all*
