Friend and other troubles

Postby fred » Wednesday 25 August 2004 6:38:40pm

i have been having troubles with friends and family lately. in the 5th grade i had loads of friends and everyone liked me. now im a freshman in hs and i realize i only have 4 friends. i've been at war with class mates over a childhood problem and i get made fun of alot.

another problem i have is on my hs soccer team. i have played with most of the people on diffrent teams and i hate playing with them. onj top of the i get little or no playing time a game(when in the past i have been a starter and got a decent amount of time). ontop of that the coach has a weird way of doing things. i hate him. he gets what are the better players(starters) and talks to them while excluding everyone else.

these are only half of my problems. who can i go to?? who can i talk to?? i cant go to my parents because they are half of it... i need someone to talk to about everything... Who is there to talk to????

You could always go to you guidance counsler.I know it totally sucks to talk to them but somtimes they can help.Especially with the firends and the coach thing.I have talked to my guidance counsler about my friends before and they can acctually meadte between you and your friends to help with the problem or they can give you adivce about it.They can also talk to your coach or give you some advice on what to do.

fred, PM me and talk with me about it. I don't like discussing things actually in here. Perhaps we can chat on MSN if you have it. I can completely paralell to those problems. Just PM me your e-mail or something, and we can talk in depth about it.

Well talking to tdm seems like a good idea.. What have you got to lose by trusting him?

Fred, I know it's weird talking to people over internet, trusting them, but TDM is really a good guy.
Just try, you'll feel better if you have someone to talk to.
If, what I really doubt, if you'll feel "he's trying to do something" you can just stop pm ing or talking thrpugh msn with him. It's easy.
Just try!

And about that who else to talk to. It depends what kind of friend is it. If you do trust your friend, tell him. I don't know your friends or your older friend, but if they're good and understanding I'd go to them.

Good luck!

I don't know about you fred but I would opt for TDM because I am not of a very trusting nature and talking to my friends would open up doors into my life that I like to leave closed, but if you talk to TDM he can't really get any closer to you than you want him to. It's confiding without the reprecusions(sp) :)

Well, I don't take offense to that, and I will not push you into conversing with me. Because some people don't feel confortable with it. It's your decision completely. But I will PM you my paralells to your problems.

I know it's hard TDM I've gone throught all my school life! I've had to deal with it myself, and you know portuguese girls can get very bitchy. I've had so many "friends" that I can't even count them, I'm going to hs this year and I've only got 3 good friends.

I had to quit Drama club becaus my teacher was like your couch, she had her favorites, and they could do what ever they wanted to, I can't talk to my parents because they just laugh at me, and I can't talk to my friends because they don't understand.

The only person I can trust is my adult friend from Austria. She really helps, but she's got her own problems.

Your luky, because if I could have a GC I would go to him at once, but don't have those here.
