What if The Twins and Ron hadn't saved Harry in CoS

What would have happened if The Sorting Hat had insisted on sorting Harry into Slytherin? Or what if Harry had become friends with Draco Malfoy instead of Ron during their first journey on the Hogwarts Express? Wander into alternative Harry Potter universes here.

What if The Weasley boys hadn't of flown the car to harry's house and rescued him after his house arrest??? Would of harry made it to Hogwarts, and if so how? Who would have shown up to stick up for harry? Would they have sent Hagrid again? DD himself? What are your thoughts?

Harry would still have been with the Dursleys year round, probably as a servant, because they don't have money (or won't spend money) for Harry's behalf. Everyone wouldn't have found out he spoke Parseltongue, they wouldn't have met Myrtle or take the Polyjuice potion, and the Whomping Willow would still have been intact. It would probably be the end of Harry Potter, unless JK would be willing to write books about life in the Muggle lane. OR Hagrid could have rescued him again, and the above info would have happened.

Arthur and Molly would have gone and got Harry anyway, if they hadn't recieved a reply within the next few days.

If the weasly twins and ron hadnt rescued him from the dursleys then mr and mrs weasly would have cos mrs weasly said when they got back that if Harry hadnt answered there owls by Thursday they would come and fetch him themselves.

I can quite imagine Mr weasley going around the Dursleys house looking at all the muggle inventions with the Dursley's trying to be in a different room :lol:

Personally, I think Hagrid would have shown up again at the Dursley's home, and taken Harry away. Dumbledore KNOWS the world needs Harry, and taken measures to prevent him from not going to Hogwarts. Hagrid is very intimitating (being half giant), and has taken Harry away before.

I agree. Hagrid would have been sent to get Harry by Dumbledore. The Dursleys would be scared stiff.
