So does that mean we can just post without it being accepted?

I posted w/o submitting the char...
The physical appearance/the birth year should remain the same as the one submitted for The original Next Generation
I think we can add in the details to the character once the issue with the character submission is sorted out. Esp. if you wanna add in stuff that happened in Next Generation that might induce a few changes to ur character. Eg. Nikolaus has a fiancee?
Meanwhile, continue with the story?
And of course, new characters can be created (other forumers can join in the big fun) but that has to wait for the character submission to be sorted out
or if it is taking too long, maybe he/she can just posted his/her new character over at the next generation discussion thread as an introduction and once the submission is working, just submit the detail? (Have to check with the moderators on this one)

If there's a problem with the RPG, a temporary exemption to the character acceptance rule is fine, as long as you give a little summary in the appropriate discussion area, and a mod can manually accept it. You'll need to create the character as soon as the problem gets fixed though.

Well since there is no Next Generation 2 discussion thread, do I post in the normal one ?

Well, does that mean that previous characters are already accepted? Then we'll recreate them when the glitch is fixed?

new idea flashed through my head when i was watching The Dark Knight 2 days ago
abt a secret organisation named Order of the Dark Knights (akin to Order of the Pheonix)
the story can take place either in the past or the post-DH era, but I'm more in favour of the past way before Voldemort's era
Order of the Dark Knights could be a page in the History of Magic, a once prominent Order that was eventually disbanded/destroyed

You saw the Dark Night? I loved that movie. The best part was the Joker. Too bad Heath Ledger died. It would have been nice to see him in the sequel. Wait, so is the Dark Knight Order good guys or bad guys?

it could be good guys using dark arts/ or means to do something good.
maybe the ministry was corrupted/weak/ or maybe this story can take place even before the formation of M.O.M which was formed in 1700s?

I like the idea of a corrupt government that oppresses people and the Dark Knight Order is a group of Vigilante Heroes. We might just have to change the name of the order, otherwise I think we'd be violating Copyright laws.

maybe a latin name to replace word - dark?
hmmm well, the concept of the "knights" actually came from the templar knights (the holy crusaders)
i ain't a reglious person (free thinker) but the idealogy of protecting the weak/oppressed stems from it
although "dark knight" is a term used by batman, are we infringing any copyright issue? the story is of a different thing compared to batman universe.
it is just two words being used together? Order of the Dark Knight? Or Black Knight? Dark Crusader is another option but it is a novel title.

hehehe good name.
you know like Order of Merlin, it was an organisation apparently created by Merlin during his era, and eventually its name became an award. Dumbledore, himself, was awarded Order of Merlin First Class
Our Order would eventually become a name of an award, as a way to remember the valiant heroes? (since the RPG will most probably take place in the 1800s)
Will Order of the Dawn sounds better?

Ohhhh, I like Riley's "Order of the Kitty Kats." Just kidding. I like Order of the Dawn Shadows. But I don't know. Having it before HP would mean that it should have been mentioned during the books. I mean, I can deal with it if it's before, but after just seems better to me.
