Why Snape is the most interesting character

I think what Harry saw in the pensive (sp? i don't have my books with me and i can never remember how to spell these things ) and Luna had a real big effect on Harry. He can be more sympathetic toward Snape, and the big thing i was thinking was even though generally Harry wasn't a bully and was kind hearted he did do the cloak thing and he called Luna looney with all the others. but i think he's gonna start to change and think about that more now. and I really hope we learn more about Snape. I was thinking that Snape and Harry could relate with their childhoods after I read the part when Harry saw Snape's memories. I agree with all of you saying Snape needs to learn to forgive James and relize Harry is not James. That's what I've been thinking all along. But it's not something that can happen over night of course. But it does have to happen eventually. I wonder what will cause it to slowly change.
