Has anybody else noticed that the surname Podmore has come up before? Sir Patrick Delaney-Podmore, a ghost and leader of the headless hunt, made an appearance in CoS, at Sir Nicholas' Death Day party.
Coincidence? I think not.....

I think they can be related, though. Which means Sturgis Podmore should be a pure-blood (only wizards can become ghosts, which means Sir Patrick was a wizard). I wonder why he beheaded... :???:

And could that be some sort of clue, or just a fact? Well, I hate it, but I think we'll need to wait... :-(

he was in the order, but was caught by the Ministry trying to trespass. I think he was trying to go to the DoM.

OMG! I cant' believe that I didnt' notice that they ahd the same name! WoW! awesome job on the observation skills there Eol!

Hrmm, but Joto, why does that mean that Sturgis must be pure-blood if they are related? All that it woudl mean is that there are wizards on his fathers side of the family... for all we know Stirgis mother may even ahve been a muggle!

But intersting that Harry Ron and Hermoine never made the connection either... Wonder why that is? It's hardly like Podmore is a common last name? (or is it over in England? :???:

From recollection though, Podmore was amember of the OotP, Malfoy put the Imperius curse on him, and forced him to break into the DoMyst, which is what he got caught doing, and landed 6mths in Azkaban for. He was guarding the door when Lucious put the curse on him.
