I agree
with choco that Dumbledore stays at Hogwarts and I think the teachers live somewhere near the school away from prying muggle eyes.... but it really makes you think.. thats not a dumb question.. its a good question.. where DO they GO?!

Just a sec, I gotta post it.
PLACE: HAWAII
TIME: SUMMER BREAK
LOCATION: TEACHERS HIDE-AWAY
Severus Snape sipped his lemonade as he eyed the bikini clad female beachgoers. He was wearing his favorite Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses, and in his opinion ( and a few others) it made him look pretty damn sexy. Those girls had thought so anyway..... He looked up towards the ocean. Dumbledore was surfing again, perched upon a long neon green surfboard. He laughed. Fancy a 150 year old man surfing.
Just then something even more surprising showed up. He was shocked.
Professor Minerva McGonagall was wearing one of the skimpiest suits he had ever seen and has balancing gracefully on a long yellow surfboard. Dumbledore gave a catcall and she flushed. "Surf's up Minerva!" he shouted. Severus stared in horror as the two collided. On purpose, most likely. Severus shook his head to rid himself of the unpleasant imagry showing up in his tired brain. He stood up and immediatly started to follow an extremely attractive female lifegaurd towards her post.
Severus emerged from underneath the lifegaurd stand about an hour later. He watched as she returned to her post a little flustered. He smiled evily and kept walking down the beach. He spotted Sybil Trelawney stretched out on a pink tye-dye blanket getting a tan. He smirked as Gilderoy Lockhart started walking towards her. Poor Sybil....his eyes widened as she started flirting with him. Gilderoy sat down next to her and they began talking, Sybil giving him adoring looks. He turned away, sickened. Did all the teachers spend their vacation here?
Luckily he had brought something to do..
He had just sat down in his chair again and began to read a book on extremely difficult potions, when he heard loud shouts of laughter. He looked up and immediatly hid behind an umbrella. Potter and his gang was walking up the beach laughing about how ridiculous their teachers looked.
"At least we have'nt seen Snape yet. He'd probably give us a detention for tanning." said Granger. Potter laughed. He tried to hide his face behind the book as they passed.
Snape heard Weasly comment on his shirt. "Bloody cool pattern, think mum'd let us get one?"
Snape's lip curled. He knew this shirt was cool, but when a Weasly compliments it, it was time to go.He made sure they were out of sight before taking his shirt off, throwing it in the sand. He took off his sunglasses and laid them next to his now warm lemonade.
"Hey there." a pretty red haired girl had just sat down next to him. He blinked. Then two of her friends sat down. In the next minute he had gained a small group of admires. He looked around in satisfaction.
Who needs shirts anyway?

That was funny! Imagine Dumbledore surfing! Hahaha! And I think Snape in any kind of Hawaiian shirt is just wrong! lol Him in bright colors? Thats not Snapes style! lol That was hilarious though!
