There is no vampire personally mentioned...but they do exist.
I'm not entirely sure, but I think many vampires were said to be in Voldie's rows because he promised them a better living in a society that's ruled over by him...at least, this is true for giants and dementors, but I think also for vampires...anyway, it would make sense, even if it isn't specificallly mentioned.

The DE should be the higher circle of Voldemort's followers, because it is mention that Voldemort got great power and a lot of people in his side (and the DE aren't that much), and Peter is surely in the higher circle since he has the Dark Mark in the arm.

I'm wondering something? Did Snape ever tell DD and gang before the end of the 3rd book about the dark mark?? I mean, there would have to be some other way to check for it other than just to have Voldie place his hand on one of them??? Why didn't they check out possible DE's in that fashion???

Snape certainly does seem to be keeping things to himself...

In the HP lexicon, it says that only the upper ranks of the Death Eaters get the dark mark. So the DEs at the meating possibly weren't all of them, and not having the mark doesn't necessarily mean you aren't a DE.

Well, Snape said that when he made the mark burn on their arm, they were to disapperate and apperate to his side, so from what you just said, I would guess that all those present at the meeting at the end of book 4 were the high up DE's withthe mark, but that there might be more of them, who dont have the mark, and so didn't come...

Maybe he only wanted to tell the high up boys about his rebirth???

Funny that all the DE's seem to be guys... I wonder why none of the chicks seem to have gone evil?

I can't believe its possible that nobody but Dumbledore knows that Snape was a spy. First of all, Harry knows. And second of all, don't they have DE meetings? It'd be kinda easy to notice if Snape was missing. Anyways, I'm pretty sure that Voldie somehow found out that Snape was a spy, he had his connections, and why would he keep something out like that?

And, I don't remember ever reading anything about Lucius talking to Snape. When was this? I forget...

well lucius and snape never talk in the books, or themovies; we just assume things based in the relation Draco-Snape.
About the chicks, you're right, it seems no chick is part of the higher class of DE. (I think one is mentioned to be in Azkaban, no?)

Yeah there was a married couple who were both either killed or sent to azkaban! I dont remember their names sorry and i dont remember what happened!

The couple's name was Lestrange. They were friends of Snape's during their time in Hogwarts. After Voldie's fall, they tortured Neville's parents, who were both aurors, with the cruciatus curse to get some information ón their master's wherabouts. While the Longbottoms have suffered mentally (they're in St. Mungo's now), the Lestranges were sent to Azkaban.

I think that we will see more of her in the books to come... and probably as a DE... why else woud we have been so specifially intorduced toher at the World Cup otherwise???
