was there any particular reason why the 'shockingly' post was deleted? or is this merely another sign of the autocratic environment being developed here?

It's to stop wreckers (are you one, sister of banned member - you seem to be?) from bad-mouthing BaO like you've just given a perfect example of. Stop trying to destroy this forum and get on with your own life - or do you have no life and nothing better to do than this (so sad if that's the case)?

Enjoy life and please let others enjoy theirs.

number 1) get your facts straight, Thea's sister is Misty and she caused absolutly no trouble. i just know the girl from school when we were both home in plymouth
number 2) i have no desire to 'wreck' the site, i asked merely what was going on. its your paranoia which means that anyone attatched to thea is a 'bad person' well guess what? half the active members were attatched to her and now they've gone. perhaps you should examine that before you loose more of your mods. also it would be nice if the 'guest' perpetually at the other forum pulled his nose out. (sad if its anyone here)

I used to go to a forum once were google search engine was always on the online members list.....perhaps its that....I would have thought guests on forums were a good thing, guests sometimes become members....

Apologies if I confused who you were.

Unfortunately there has been duplicity from some Mods which is why some have been removed. Some have also chosen to leave of their own free will. I have zero wish to be at the other forum but due to the fact that some Mods have not been forthcoming with how they have acted behind my back I have had no choice but to try to find out who I can trust and who I can't.

Believe me on this, there are things that have occurred that have left me shocked and disgusted with, and if I told you what they were you'd probably be quite disgusted too.

All I wish to do now is to stop the arguing and wrecking, and let people here who want to enjoy discussing HP stuff to have fun doing just that. And if this means banning the wreckers, that's what I'll do.

If you wish to enjoy BaO, fine, but let's not start another argument here.

Sorry but what exactly does that mean? Does it mean youve been to Accident Alley as the mystery guest to try and find out who isnt 'owning up' to modding there?

If it does surely its unecessary. If people arent they might of course not have been on, or it might have been that they feel they can manage both positions fine and they know that theyre NOT somebody whos going to try and wreck BaO or anything (didnt you say you were drawing the line because of wrecking attempts from SOME mods?) but will just mod both as you might mod any other two forums. Surely thats reaonable.

N.B. Im not asking for my modding abilities back so please dont interpret it that way.

Removed at request of original poster

This post contained unacceptable language and comments that the original member was dissapointed in after they had posted it. They asked me via another medium if I could delete it as they; "regret it because it was unecessary and wrong". I have done as requested. This is not an attempt at covering something up.

i did expect you to post something like that ofcourse, something which has only a tangible reference to what the other person posted and not understanding at all what he is trying to say. But i dont blame you there, after all, you have differential equations to study.

well, its nice to know that you know what guests and members mean, but i assume that you better get used to the lack of them, since none of them are left at BaO. oh and paul, thanks for the removal of the pm facility. i assume that you did so so that no members can talk to us about our forum, but since you have removed the facility, everybody at BaO has left you. ditto for the "bao or modding in the other forum" choice, not one has stood by you and you have just lost more members. we dont need to "wreck" this forum to get members, you are doing quite a remarkable job yourself

No, actually I did understand what the person said, I was just pointing out that there could be a perfectly valid non suspicious reason for guests all the time.

And if you check the who is online list you will notice you are infact wrong, there are always guests on BaO too, and several members still active here.

But I thought you upped and left over a week ago so why are you still here? For people who seem to be so proud of leaving places you all don't seem to know the correct definition of the word leave. It means you go and don't come back, no more posting so good bye. Have a nice life on another forum and leave BaO alone.

Both Groo and Liquid Ice have previously annouced their leaving BaO (liquid Ice having stated this over a week ago on the other forum)...

I try to say
If you wish to enjoy BaO, fine, but let's not start another argument here.
and yet on and on they go, neither of them aware of the full facts. Sorry Caitlin but I'm locking this thread - as I'd suspected it's been turned by the leaving-wreckers into another argument.

Groo and Liquid Ice do indeed seem to have difficulty in undstanding the word "leave" or keeping to their convictions of leaving (it seems that, particularly to Groo, he may think that "leave" means not being here unless intending to try to wreck the forum). I've assisted Groo in the meaning therefore and ceased his membership of BaO.

Liquid Ice, go with dignity and let people who want to enjoy BaO do that - or face an undignified ban.

Further similar discussions will involve similar action. Seriously people, you don't know everything that's occurred, so it's pointless arguing further. Those who have decided to leave need to keep to their convictions and enjoy another forum.

Scellanis has put it perfectly so I'll end with her words:
Have a nice life on another forum and leave BaO alone.
