Apologies for any slowness

There is a situation that I need to deal with at the moment regarding the server that BaO runs on (Li'l Monster). I've noticed when initially visiting the forum tonight that loading a few pages has been slow, and this may relate one way or another to the situation (I'll give more details once I've organised a solution which hopefully should be in the next week or thereabouts). Meanwhile, sincere apologies if you notice any slowness.

just wondering paul, is this an old thread? or is this problem still on going? because right now, my computer is having some trouble with this site. it takes ages to load, and its a bit frustrating. if this problem is fixed, dont worry, its probably my browser.

There is still a potential slowness situation at the moment - there will be a move to a new (dedicated) server very shortly (probably in the next week or two), which should help the situation immensely and the speed improvement should be very noticable. The move may have to be a two-stage process of hopping on to one temporary server and then moving to the final super-power one a week or two later, but I'm hoping to avoid this if possible, in order to minimise any down-time. Preparation for the move is something I'm very urgently working on every hour I can at the moment. Sincere apologies meanwhile.
