hmm... I have always attempted to use correct spelling and punctuation for stuff... I just usually have ALOT of typos ;-)
To be honest, i dislike people who use all the internet slang- maybe those are the people who were always skipping english classes ? ;-)

My local newspaper recently published an article in which English teachers discussed how students were now using Internet slang in their papers. It's really quite depressing, but then, English is always evolving. People used to address others as 'Thee' or 'thou', right? Could this be the next evolution? \

"Hey dude, wuz up dis is so cool" "U ceen the movie? oh, u want me to speek english? u posh git."

I hope not, but it looks like it's turning out to be that way.

excuse me....i'll have you know i never skipped an english class...never skipped any class for that matter without good reason...like jags, or the bus forgetting to stop, dentist...etc

I tried my very hardest to do english but im just naturally a bad speller

i don't understand the concept of double letters, i dont understand punctuation

i cant write stories, or poems and i can just manage an essay if im pushed

considering i scraped a pass by 2 marks in my higher english prelim im very proud of the fact i actually got a higher grade C for english but no matter what grade i got i still dont understand it and never will

and as for english class

i dropped english as soon as i could, i.e end of 5th year of high school....that is 2, nearly 3 years ago

Actually writing out english words is faster if your like me, and have to think about shortening words to 'U' and 'R' ... But what would be quite sad is if people were going round saying 'LOL' and 'ASL' To eachother... heh
