Wow, that is really interesting! :-)

It's amazing how many there are in history... I mean, even if you look way back into Biblical times....

King David, even though he had many wives (and that was okay and acceptable back then), found one woman he decided he couldn't live without, so he sent her husband to the front of the war, where he would definately be killed, so that he could have her...

Peter, who is considered by just about all Christian religions, and (I think) considered the first Pope in the Catholic religion, was this headstrong, tempermental redneck in the beginning... I think that's why he's my favorite apostle... I can relate to him, yet he went on to do great things.

While a perfect person's story is nice to listen to, an ordinary or flawed person who goes on to be more than you thought they could really gives you hope, ya know?

Athena, I know what you mean about David. I don't know how many sermons I've heard about how David was God's chosen one and yet he's like one of THE most flawed people in the bible, partly simply because he knew better where as other bad people in the bible didn't really know they were wrong they were just doing what they had been taught. :-? :)
