Libraries--what are your thoughts?? :)

hmm...in my town the Librarians don't like me...as a child I always was gobbling up the books faster than they could find knew ones for me to enjoy...and the fact they just wanted to give me rubbish to read like The Baby-Sitters Club, when I wanted some really meaty stories you know? They just said I wouldn't be able to read them...Plus I never could figure out how to use the OWL system(...ha ha ha...OWLS I know...lol...)The OWL system is a huge library connection of the Outagamie and Waupaca county libraries...and every single piece of media in the OWLs are recorded on computers, and if you want a book you use the OWL computer, and since I am dumb I could never figure it out, so I always just did it the manual way...ask the Librarians, and then they would get vexed because I took then away from their work...oh well...but I like the Media Center in my school, but I have only checked out one book there in my high school career...whoops...and it was an informational book about Vietnam...lol...so, yeah I am just not a fan of the libraries in my town...but in general they are neato torpeado...

I use my public library to borrow books and CDs cos mt school library is rubbish.

Yeah, I just loooooooove libraries . Love reading, sp. books without images (remeber some book in that condition???? 8) )... make us think more.

However, there aren't any libraries near my house , and the one in my school have book of the last century (wait, wait, it wasn't so long since the last century, they're more likely from the 80's ). Ok that's a little exaggerated, but i don't like those books...

i like my public library cos it has some good chess books and the odd tape. I also did my work experience there when i was 15. I enjoyed it. Last year i went to the same school that mr sister is currently attending. I agree with her, that the school librarian was horrible. There are two libraries at the sixth form college i am going to now, and they look more promising.
