what about real lighting "effects" ???
Anyways, I just saw a program on Andy Goldsworthy (landart) and what he does is quite beautiful, not only for the esthetic aspect but also the sometimes instant quality of his work (have a look here)

Strangely, I like when the paper is well folded. I don't like to see when the fold is not perfect... (perfeccionist, i think that's the word to name what i am :D )

languages are beautiful things, me thinks :)
i find it fascinating how JRR Tolkien could just come up with entire languages- alphabets, pronunciation, style, everything! i could never do all that stuff!

Ah, see, I love languages, but in a more rhetorical way. Like I'm amazed with written language and the rules and rhetoric behind it.

i like languages because they are so interesting! and important, too-the more languages you can speak the more people you can easily communicate with!

i heard about this somewhere... theres this spanish professor who invented a language in the 70s, i think. i forget what it's called but its supposed to be really easy for anyone to speak and there are over like 2 million people from all over the globe who speak it, or some large number. wouldn't it be cool if everyone spoke the same language?

Ah! Pinky, I think your talking about Esperanto...
Actually, it was not a spanish teacher who invented it, but a Polish one.

And, yes, Esperanto is VERY EASY to understand (not so easy too speak on account of the lexicon).

But here are some sentences:

1. Mi estas Jotomicron (I'm Jotomicron, that's too easy)
2. Mi pensas ke vi skribas bonajn letterojn (I think you write goo letters)
3. Ravencalw placxas al mi (I like Ravenclaw or Ravencalw pleases me)
