i'm one of those people that crams the night before for exams, it's the only way i can do it. like sonkem said, i work a lot better when i know i have a deadline. i listen to all kinds of music when i'm studying, rap, rock, pop, r&b, hip hop, sometimes i can relate something that i'm studying with a part in a song, so it becomes easy to remember. also, i sing to myself when i'm taking exams  it helps me relax!

I usually can't concentrate enough for studying and I'm a very lazy student when it comes to it, so I tend to procrastinate and then I'm in hurry, panicking and I'm unable to do anything. So the best thing is when I have someone else to study with. I used to study with my schoolmate Iveta, especially when we had to study English grammar. She was able to keep me concentrated, because I tend to just stand up, go to the kitchen, make tea, put on a CD, go back to kitchen and make myself something to eat, put off the CD... and so on and on, but Iveta would keep me in one place and allow me a break only after hour or two. :D And learning aloud helps too or highlighting important things in books (when you're a visual type of learner).

But I failed literature yesterday, stupid, stupid me! *bangs her head*

the bad part of the trying to study over two weeks is i can't. my biology teacher (who just happens to be my uncle) does a WHOLE chapter in 3 days, so we take a test that often. which doesn't allow for that nice 2 week study time. so, i ened up bombing the test, getting a 74% on it. luckily, we can re-take, so i HAVE to do good tomorrow.

I've got my 2 hardest exams this Friday (Chemistry, where I've just barely managed a B; and History, which will have stuff from the beginning of the year instead of only a semester) and I haven't done any serious studying for either yet. But the good news is that after those exams, I have Home Decor (open book... a complete waste of time) and English (just need to present a "what i learned this year" project) on Monday; and French (my favorite class) and Geometry (rediculously easy) on Tuesday... then I'll be FREEEEE!!!

I procrastinate like my life depends on it. I'm so easily distracted! There's the pretty trees in my front yard to gaze at, and I could spend countless hours on my 'puter, a friend could call, etc. So when I study, I just quickly review my notes several times. 10 minutes of note-reading, 1/2 hour (sometimes more) of other stuff. So since my house is so distracting, I try really hard to pay attention in class.

Ok, talking about exams is kinda making me nervous. AHHH, what am I doing here?!?! I should be studying! If I don't get a B on my Chem exam, I might have a C for my final grade! :o
