Yeah...quite the phenomenon in Asia, I suppose it's to try to individualise yourself.

*Remembers when he dyed his hair red  *

Can't do that so much now as the job won't allow it.

Personally, I prefer red hair, but it's a taste that might change over time.
In Portugal, there are more and more women that dye the hair, and there are more and more blonds as time passes.

The haircolour doesn´t really matter for most of the boys I think. Looks isn´t the most important thing!!!

In New Zealand Blondes are popular but are known for being blonde minded eg. dumb is probably a good way to put it. There are lots of blonde jokes like 'A blonde walked into a bar...Ouch!!!"
Brunettes are also popular but most guys are attracted to blondes, I'm not to sure bout red heads cause i'm a girl, i just know that blondes are popular... Well I think so!!!

Well I'm a blonde but I call myself a blonde with brains...hehe

If you wanna be attractive to guys... just be the most fun person in the room. You don't need to dress or dye or anythying. Just groom yourself well (hair combed, teeth brushed, clothes clean and occasionally clingy) and just have fun. No slutty blond can stand up against the most approachable girl in the room. That's the secret. Guys will talk to you if they think you want to be friends with them. Once you have them talking, plot to your devious minds content

I, being me, find this topic fairly pointless. If hair color is that important to anyone in a relationship, I think they are better left alone. I have brownish blondish reddish hair (not dyed... but i can never tell the color)... so i have no true hair color. If I were to walk around, and some person come up to me and say "You have a nice hair color" I would take it as a compliment, but if hair color was more important than that to this person, he really wouldnt be someone to waste time with.

But of course, I feel the same way about women. I see no point in sitting in a chair for 3 hours when there are more productive thngs to do than change your appearance, so why do we have hair salons in the first place? I do understand hair cuts, but that money (usually around 200-300 dollars to get dyed washed and cut around my parts) could be better donated to a charity. Those three hours can be used volunteering for a big brothers-big sisters relationship or cleaning up the community.

Really, I guess I'm just trying to say that your appearance isn't as important as a kid's happiness or a real relationship or a charity that is directed towards cancer research (just a few examples, but you can go from there) and if more peolpe took the time to realize that, than the world might be just a smidgeon happier. Now i feel like this guy...
