Well, I'm not much for ships, but I'll try to answer...

1. who do you Primarily ship
no one

2. is the ship you primarily ship your canon ship or your preference ship or both
I think it's both...

3. What is your canon ship
none really, since I like Snape and I don't like "shipping" him, but it could be Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny

4. what is your preference ship
Harry and Ginny (I'd like seeing those two together)

5. who is your favorite character
Severus Snape

6. who is your second favorite character
I don't really know... maybe Remus Lupin or Sirius

7. who is your least favorite character(other then the villans)
Arthur Weasley (sorry)

8. Who is your least favorite character in the trio
Harry

9. What is the worst character flaw to be found in the books and witch caracters have it
I've never thought about this... I usually don't mind characters being evil and VERY evil or having many flaws if they're well described and most JKR's characters are like this

Arthur Weasley (I don't really know why)

12.who do you hope die's(other then the villains)
I don't know... Although I don't like Arthur Weasley, I wouldn't really want him dead... Lucius maybe? (though I have a soft spot for him)

13.who is the most useless character in the books ( the person that you would not have noticed if they had never been there or if they just diapered from the books with out any explanation.
some of the students like Dean or Seamus...

I've never been married (and I don't think I'll ever be), so far it was one long lasting relationship and another one which I'm currently in

I have no idea...

not a best friend, only a friend

17.what ship of the mane ships is most unlikely to happen
Luna/Harry (very unlikely to me) or slash ships

small

19. do you believe that JKR is using the red herring method in her books when it comes to romance
no...

20.why do you believe other people ship differently than you
because everyone likes different characters and well, we're all different and I usually prefer the adult characters while in ships, I believe, teen characters more often take place (plus my favourite character is Snape and I don't think he "ships" well with anyone...)

21. what ships do you consider sunk(lets keep this list to main ship’s and relatively possible ships. No Dumbeldor and the giant squid ships ect ect)
Snape/Lily (no, no, no) and student/teacher ships

the books (movies not, maybe some quotes too)

I don't really have my ship...

Does anyone else notice a correllation between the facts that people who pair Ron and Hermione together both don't believe that J.K. Rwling uses the red herring method and like Snape best? They also tend not to like Harry much. I'm totally serious, so far, the people who put these two together fit this profile very closely. It's a little curious

Then there's people like me who despise Snape and all those "bad guy types" and we ship different I think. I also figure she uses Red Herrings in her books...seeing as she uses them everywhere else (Book four: Gred and Forge's blackmail/ Book three: Crookshank's chasing Scabbers and Sirius Black/ Book 2: Percy's secret and Ginny's problems and the chamber of secrets/ Book 1: Snape, Quirrel, etc.) Why wouldn't she stick them in there

Hm, I don't think I don't really fit in that category. Although I like Snape, I like him the way he is - mean and unfair. I hate James Potter to the guts, but that doesn't mean I hate Harry as well. I actually like him more than Ron, but still I don't think that he and Hermione are destined for each other.

It's a hard decision, actually. I like them all, but none so much I'd call him or her my favourite character. But I said Hermione.

Well, first of all, I wouldn't say that I don't like Harry much, it's just that I like Ron and Hermione a little more. As for the red herring thing, the clues to the romance between Ron and Hermione actually come from the movies and I think the things in the movies are more obvious.

lol I am here to collect the data and have found the very intresting conversation about the very myths i am taliking about. I will be posting the results here and at every other sight that this poll has been posted at. And I have to say that I think all of you may be very intrested in finding out if some of your asumptions about why people ship they way do is correct. Are all R/Hr shipers Harry hater's???? that is one of the comone myths out there in the shippilng world. One I intend to find out is factual or not.

It will be intersting to compare the data on BaO to other places. My Ron/Hermione theory is mostly based on the more visual stuff in the movies too.
