Meet everyone here in The Great Hall for general discussions. Here you'll find a friendly place to talk about all things under the magnificent magical ceiling...even stuff not connected with Harry Potter!

That's great, Scellanis!

That would be amazing and I would be very grateful for all of the feedback from such an in-depth analysis. As much as I respect Eragon, at least you would have the author available to have question and answer sessions if you read mine :)

Thanks again and take care.

Yeah actually, that could be quite fun.... Might get a better response than the rest of the books if we actually had the author to talk to though the other books were books of the month and we found people couldn't get and read them fast enough so its been extended to book of the season now.

Hi Scellanis,

Well I would make myself at your disposal for discussion (even if you throw things after you've read the book!!).

But seriously I would love to talk about the book to a group of readers. I think it has enough depth and thoughtful themes to make it interesting and open to debate.

Plus, and I mean this, I would actually be very honoured :)

Don't worry, Fawkes. I'll just keep sticking pieces of paper with random letters in front of your face.

Thanks Fawkes!

Just to let you know, book shop distribution is very poor at the moment, but it is available all over the place on-line. Actually, I must say I'm very excited about the idea of a few of you reading it and discussing it, as the themes in my story were always designed to encourage debate. When you read it you see what I mean :)

But most of all I hope that everyone who reads it will enjoy it :)

i think i'll look at book stores, libraries, etc. first, because i'm not sure i could stand the wait before it's delivered.

Hi Fawkes :)

I'm pretty sure that my book won't be in the book shops or the libaries yet. It needs people to order them in and my book has only been available for about a month, so it's very new. Book stores only have a small amount of space on their shelves and they save it for big, best selling authors like our favorite JK Rowling! :) Maybe one day I'll be as popular!!! So it looks like it will have to be bought from an on-line shop. But I do want to thank you very much for being so kind and supportive. It means a lot to me :)

I like the cover! :D for the new authors I think the cover is very important ^-^ When I pick out a new book (not that it happens often) I look at the cover and the expert/summary on the back. I like the nice flowery field and the fog behind the boys - looks mysterious. And I like the expert. I am finishing a book now, and then I may pick this one up from amazon :D
