Nine hours of lord of the rings....that's intense.

My mother has taken to buying everything Lord of the rings...and she's really taken it to an extreme. She went to see Pirates of the Carribean, for Orlando aka Legi right, and NOW she's on a quest to buy everything JOhnny Depp because he performed with orlando who was in LoTR....

I dont know if this has been touched in this forum before now, because i dont really want to read all three pages of replies...but does anyone besides me think that they changed too much in the TT movie? I still like it and all, but i think they changed it way too much. They made Faramir the complete opposite of what he is supposed to be, and i always liked him so that made me mad...And it seemed like the timeline was really messed up too. Ive read all the books countless times (but not as much as HP) and the battle of helms deep is supposed to take place close the beginning of the book. And i know it sounds like i am completely bashing this movie, but i thought it was great! I just think they couldve done a tiny bit better on it. Just wanted to know what anyone else thought...

yeah, the timeline was pretty messed up. the skipped like a third of the book! they're not putting in the last few chapters of RotK though so what they didn't out in this movie will be in the next, i think.

i agree with you about how they changed so much stuff. most of page one is about that, so if you wanna you can see it there
