Asphodel...its set in Middleearth not on Earth....I suppose mildly its based on places in Britain but its a whole new world....

Er... I'm not good at distunguishing that sort of thing. What I meant was the whole knight-thing (correct me if the book's not like this) is British (in my opinion) so I sort of assumed that it was based in Europe.

Narnia is based in europe as the kids live in Britain when they aren't in Narnia but Narnia is again a whole new world.

Yeah, but you can see the resemblance to British folkore it has. Narnia may be a new world, but it sounds a lot like the storys about knights and horses Britain has become famous for.

I read d first book ... but it was sth like for a child ... it made me fall asleep .... but i hav 2 admit, d movie was nice!!! In my opinion, it was much better than d books :grin:

d is not a word you know....neither is wif...

Wheeeeee!!!! I have the DVD (and I have the Box set of the old BBC series that was made in the 80's....) Now all I need to do if find my box set of the books...6 of them are on the book shelves but I haven't got a clue where the 7th is.

I'm pretty sure I know where it is in my room, its just getting to that place and then being brave enough to put my hands in the drawers and see what else is in there too...
