Asphodel...its set in Middleearth not on Earth....I suppose mildly its based on places in Britain but its a whole new world....

Er... I'm not good at distunguishing that sort of thing. What I meant was the whole knight-thing (correct me if the book's not like this) is British (in my opinion) so I sort of assumed that it was based in Europe.

Narnia is based in europe as the kids live in Britain when they aren't in Narnia but Narnia is again a whole new world.

Yeah, but you can see the resemblance to British folkore it has. Narnia may be a new world, but it sounds a lot like the storys about knights and horses Britain has become famous for.

I read d first book ... but it was sth like for a child ... it made me fall asleep .... but i hav 2 admit, d movie was nice!!! In my opinion, it was much better than d books

Wheeeeee!!!! I have the DVD (and I have the Box set of the old BBC series that was made in the 80's....) Now all I need to do if find my box set of the books...6 of them are on the book shelves but I haven't got a clue where the 7th is.
