Eva was a story about the human inability to truly connect or communicate and how it would start destroying us. It's very symbolic and very depressing and the world is slowly coming to an end and humanity is moving towards complimentation, or the loss of individual identity

Yeah, I heared that its pretty depressing and I saw a little snippet on the internet (i think it was one of those anime music vids) where woman with blue hair dies, as well as other random ppl i don't know. I don't like depressing/very bloody animes so I decided that its not for me.

Really? ^-^ Its a story of a girl who stoped growing (i think she is 16 or 18 but looks like a little kid). She is very poor, but suddenly she gets invited to a princess academy , and, for some reason, is selected as a platinum princess candidate. At the same time she finds out that if she becomes a "platinum princess" and obtains tiara - she will be able to make 1 of her wishes come true. (obv. she wants to grow up) ^-^ (yeah, its kiddie, but its pretty and gives you a good feeling when you watch it)

Tanuki - have you seen .Hack//Sign anime? (its really confusing, and I saw bits and pieces so...wanted to fins out whats going on in it)

Live Action Evangelion??? I never said I saw that...LOL misunderstanding. I said I watched Evangelion for its 'robot' action. But it turned out to be one hell of a brain ride in the later part of the anime.

Mint, I think you saw the teaser MV for the Evangelion anime movie. The part where everyone dies except one person, Shinji, who decided he wants to believe in human. As for Asuka...I guess her will to live also overcame that 'extinction' and she, too, survived.

The ending was like...a guy and a girl survived...and O_o the rest of the human population were reduced to a primodial soup...

We have a new anime show comming out, horror one. When I started to see the commercial I thought it would be a "Death note" but its actually.....I dont remember <_<' its starts on "G"

Its this black ball and smth about that it decides who lives and dies and noone knows who created it/where it came from.

Of course Im not gonna watch it, I don't like horror.

The last angel was man itself. They defeated all the invaders... then Seele turned on Nerv and tried to kill everyone so they couldget to Lilith and begin instrumentality or complimentation (the total removal of the barrier of individuality to supposedly create one perfect being from all the souls on earth). The final decision fell on Shinji...In the T.V. ending, he accepts complimentation, and the human race is lost forever. In the movie ending, he turns against it and in the end, he is left with Asuka and the potential for other people to come back if they have a strong enough will. All in all, it shows just how crazy Hideki Anno was when he made it

I had to read a few things to get it. basically, he was talking to his mother, who is inside Eva 01 and he is left with the decision of instrumentality since his eva is the crux of the system

Did you guys watch "Es Otherwise"? I was home sick yesterday, so I managed to watch first 2 eps. and its interesting so far.
