It makes perfectly sense and it is really wicked! Merging with whatever they're standing on, now that's something you don't come across everyday!

You've got me interested in these little lizards (they are lizards, are they), let's see where I can find more information on them..

Okies (you influence me, Holly, I start using the work okay and versions of it really often!), as I said, I've gone and searched for things about geckos and their amazing abilities. I've found this website that deals with 'gecko grip'! http://www.mos.org/cst/article/5499/ check it out if you're interested. Also this PDF-file (fairly large, so watch out if you're on a dialup-connection) is veery interesting! http://www.lclark.edu/~autumn/Papers/02 ... AS_Cvr.pdf

Enjoy!

Oh, what's better 'wallwalker' or 'walker of walls'? The first one, not?

Yeah it's pretty wicked stuff, those little things on their feet are soo tiny! Hardly imaginable! I'm actually thinking of buying a gecko now! I wanted one a couple of years ago, as I said, but it never happened..!

The name thing, just apart I like wallwalker better, but in the combo with Supreme Mugwump, the other looks (and sounds) nicer, so maybe I'll ask Paul to change it (yet again) to 'supreme mugwump and walker of walls'! Sorry Paul : )!

Hrmm, well I'm not entirely sure about this Gecko, but you might want to find out before you get one as a pet...

I havent looked it up myself, but Ihave heard that gecko's carry/spread Salmanella(cant' spell it)... so you might wannt do a bit of checking before you get one? :(

PS, if you do look it up and find out, wanna tell me, because I am curious, but haven't had enough time to find out for certainone way or another??? ;)

Most lizards carry some form of salmonella, there's not much of a way of getting around it other than not buying one! I used to have a gecko, his name was Mr. Gecko (i know, i know, I'm so original  ) I think they make great pets (until you go on vacation and your sister forgets to feed him and you come back and the tank's empty  :( ) you should all go out and get one!

I'm so sorry Accio! I did some searching, and there are so many sorts of geckos! What sort was yours? Also, my cat is named Tijger (Tiger) because she sort of looks like a tiger (when she was young, now she looks like a huge tigerpatterned-towel : ) !

Holly, here's a link with info about geckos (and reptiles) and salmonella: http://www.geckonetwork.com/salmonella.htm Hope that helps!

He was a fat-tailed Gecko, he wasn't exaclty going to win a beauty contest or anything, but he was still cute. He was pretty easy to take care of though. Now I have a long-tailed (I have a thing with tails  ) grass lizard. It's cool because his body is about 3 inches long, and his tail is at least 9 or 10 inches long. I named this one Banjo

I remembered this thread from a while back, and now that I'm in this position, I decided to ressurect it.

I have no idea what to put (to erase this dag nabbed "Fully Qualified Wizard" title...not that there's anything...wrong with that.... ) I sat down at my computer to think, and it was the most complete of complete blanks I think I've ever faced.

I need help... :crying:

Eek! I just noticed that I'm a fully qualified wizard! Yay! :D *Wonders off to think of a custom title*

So you need to PM Paul with the request and he changes it? Allright ... Is there a maximum length or something?

* Stargazer * :eekie:

Yep just PM Paul and he'll change it. If you don't know anything yet you should ask Paul to change it to 'fully qualified witch' instead!

Maximum length? I've no idea, but I have 2 'own' titles in addition to the prefect and librarian ones, so that's pretty lengthy!

Titles look interesting, but wow...I'm a LONG way off from that!

I have no idea what my title(s) will be once I reach the required number of posts...at this point, I'd settle for being sorted...getting closer!
