Whenever he wants, I guess. I get the impression that he's just playing now because he still enjoys the game, and can. The fact that he can still make top teams is real credit to him. All Blacks was just a little too much maybe. He'll leave at the end of this season, or next. Won't be long...

Yeah, he really has had a really long run. I just can't help thinking he can't go for much longer.

It's a shame he couldn't stick it out for the World Cup though.

OoO! I actually went to the Rugby last Friday and I'm going again this Saturday.

I can't remember his name, but he's out for the World Cup because he's torn something in his leg I think and he needs surgery. I think its Jason Eden..maybe...I don't know...I just made that name up! But he looks like he has a mullet or he does have one..
Yeah I'm just confusing myself here.

Jason Eaton. Hope you had fun, I heard it was a pretty tight game. Don't see the point in going again this weekend, the Hurricanes are already out of semi-final contention aren't they? :-)

I'm starting to worry a little about the All Blacks... :-?

It's too early to worry too much, but there have been a few injuries. The squad has a lot of depth (for instance, they could have two completely different top teams last year... they swapped them around, it was quite interesting because both of them were very good) but most of the top All Blacks went on a reconditioning programme to help them before the World Cup this year, and it meant they missed out on 7 or so weeks of the Super 14, the competition between Australian, NZ, and South African teams.

And so ... many of the top players were a little out of form because they hadn't played in so long, and got chucked into the competition right when all the action was heating up and the teams starting to fire in defence and attack.

So... I've no doubt that maybe their bodies couldnt hack it the first few weeks jumping straight into mid-season intensity. They didn't get the first few weeks of sloppy play. Or they're having it now.

The problem is that the competition's almost over, and they should be right back up there at the top of their game. But like I said, they have a lot of depth, and players that are also hitting their stride and could replace them if need be.

But hopefully it won't come to that... I'm sure we'll be fine.

A few injuries... I would think so! Rugby's a hard game! I'd be likely if I didn't get killed in the first 10 minutes :D

Well we have plenty of reserves, even if it all goes wonky with our top players we could still win the thing, we have that much good depth.

But there's plenty of time to go, it's just unfortunate because we were so dominant over the rest of the world last year...

Anyway.

I hope the All Blacks sort themselves out for the World Cup.

Yeah. Well two South African teams have topped the Super 14 table. That's a little bit worrying... first time ever both semi-finals have been played in South Africa.

It's Sharks vs Blues, Bulls vs Crusaders.

Still pretty confident the Crusaders will just cruise through again and snatch the title once more!

It's an all-South African Super 14 final. One of the rare occasions when there is no New Zealand team in it. South Africa are looking good to take the world cup...

Anyway, in yachting news... Team New Zealand have made it through to the semi-finals of the Louis Vuitton Cup, the series to find the challenger for the America's Cup.
