Okay, I don't own tons of HP memorabilia, but my sister does, LOT'S OF IT. She has lifesize cardboard cutouts and such. She decided to turn her room into an HP room, so it looks like Harry's dormitory. At least now she can do something with all her HP stuff :eek:

! We (my parents and I) are doing all the work (because my sister is too lazy to do it herself! :rol:

). We're putting fake stone up on the walls, and we bought all this really gothic looking furniture. And as a finishing touch, we're putting red drapes up around her bed!

This got me to wondering, how have you guys decorated your room?

My room is painted with four-foot wide, verticle stripes of lime green and turquoise, and in between each of those stirpes is anther stripe, a 1-inch wide white stripe. My carpet is green, my bedspread is turqousie, my huge bookshelf is white. The only things that arent blue or green or white are my bed, dresser, and stand for my lizard's tank--they're all light oak. And my cutains are candy apple read, you need a little variety you know! :grin:

My room is painted white!!!! And its wooden, meaning it has a tannish/brownish floor. My curtains are Blue, my bed comforter is Blue and green, and i have wooden shelves and pics around my room of hockey (nj devils) 76ers, and bands (linkin park LP underground member). So thats my extreamly borring room. My bathroom in my room has LOTS of seashells...all my collection of them from scuba diving. Cool bathroom, borring bedroom.

Anyway my room has bright red walls, light purple curtains and lamp thing (it goes ok! trust me) and a blue carpet and i dont have much on the walls but i do have a harry potter poster on my door!!

My room is a small box. It's painted flourescent(sp.) blue with a white dresser, desk with clutter and a computer which is as old if not older than I am. Of course, I pull the infamous, every piece of clutter goes in the closet. Oh yeah, I also have an ottoman which has to go back in the living room. I may get a TV that is definitely older than me AND my sister(who is 20

Oh yea, now for the things in my room. There is a computer (well, labtop..crappy dell w/slow processor cuz of all my games on it), i do have a 1980's tv with a SNES (super nintendo). The gamecube is in the family room

. I also have a bass guitar, amp, sax (my instrauments) and a music stand. So thoes are some things in my borring room :-?

So you want to find out what's in my room, eh. I have a desk, a PB, a dresser, a poor-mans bookcase, an ottoman, a bed, and lots of junk, including HP 5 and a hella lot of Animorphs books.

haha, I love decorating and picking out fabrics and paints and stuff :grin:

you know, my sister found a website with a bunch of HP rooms in it, I'll have to find the link and post it...

And now were listing what's in our room? Okie dokie... I have a TV with a VCR attached, but I broke the VCR (god only know how, lol :lol:

) and a DVD player. Oh Marcus, I have a SNES too! Its the best :grin:

!! I'm so good at Super Mario! I also have a guitar and an amp. I dont play it. It's just there to match my room though (it's 50's style, creme with seafoam border). I have a big fake palm tree (6ft. tall, white trunk with red, blue, green, and yellow leaves) and I have a long tail grass lizard in a cute little tank. Ummm, and my plant, its green and leafy and 3 1/2ft tall. My walls are covered with stuff, hawaiian leis (sp?) SPAM posters. Yea, that's about it.

my room is decorated with dirty socks, last terms school books (since i'm on holidays, a whole load of paperwork junk (since i was doing a whole lot of application stuff before holidays), a futon to sleep on, a lazy lava lamp (doesn't make bubbles anymore, just has a lump sitting at the bottom, but it gives out a nice red light) and a foot high starwars 4 legged walker (at-st ? or is that the 2 legged one ?). oh and a few painted games workshop figures ... erm my ipod is lying somewhere and that would be nearly all apart from boring furniture (desk, chair)

my room has yellowish, bananacolour walls, but it's to much of a hassle to paint 'm, as I'll be leaving home after next schoolyear. i have lots of Keith Haring drawings on the wall. I cut them from a calendar I had, the result is pretty nice. Furthermore, I have all my parents' book in my room, because we moved from a fairly large house to a much smaller one for reasons that they are looking to buy something elsewhere (in another country), anyhow we had to put stuff everywhere 'cuz we had to much! so I'm stuck with all the books, which is nice if I want to read of course (which I do quite often).
Also I have all my own books in it, and when I haven them (I rent m from school (cheaper than buying) my schoolbooks, cds. I have a doublebed for myself, in which I sleep soo good. I love sleeping and dreaming!

I have a Homer Simpsons Poster on my door, and a nice photograph of a street in San Francisco in 1950 or 1960 something like that (I bought it at Ikea!) My computer is here, and my desk (also bought at Ikea) and my ipod, stereo, clothes in a cupboard.
a real nice leather chair which belonged to my late grandfather. that's about it!

My room is painted a very light sky blue, the floor are covered with white tiles, a hugh window probably 1.5 m in length and a green curtain.

Paper, paper and lotsa paper in my room, mainly all tutorials, lect notes n some scribblings (in other words, a messy room :grin:

)
An ancient pc on my comp desk that I called dino, cos it lived thru jurassic era n i'm still using it with no fear of a virus attack (so cool!)
I have 2 jigsaw puzzles (500, 1000 pcs) which took me days to complete so it will look nice on the walls and many posters and a calendar of my idol

Other than that, i guess my room is pretty boring and lifeless unless a cockroach decides to fly to my room :-(

and chase me out...nothing scares me most than a flying roach

My room is painted dark blue. and ummm i put alot of stickers on the wall. My room is really mess up during weekdays. :razz:

I used to have a whole bunch of poster of movies, artists, and anime, but took the mal ldown and now put up stickers

I have a very little room, I have white carpet and white furniture. I have TV and PSII (which serves as PlayStation and DVDplayer)

I have a poster of HP and a little mini poster (from CD) of HP.

And I have 3 posters from Kamikadze Kaito Jeanne - they ...are...Beautiful!! Esp. the one where Jeanne (whith white little angel wings) is sitting on the red heartshaped pillow in a beautiful pool.

Anyway, I have a table with a hutch and a dresser/mirror and book shelf and everyone loves my room cause its really cozy. :angel:

Everybody's rooms look so sweet...at least in my imagination...

My walls are split in half horizontally by a wall paper boarder that is cream colored with roses on it. The top part above the boarder is cream colored. The bottom is a mossy green that matches the leaves on the roses. My comforter has the same rose pattern on it as the wall paper. The floor is the same carpet we have in the entire house...it is white with brown flecks. I have a white rautiron (sp) day bed, and a white dresser (which is full of clutter), a white desk (which is also full of clutter), and a book shelf that is full of books that I don't read anymore. I have two closets, but one is really tall, but it is shallow and narrow because it is just a space they made behind the chimney that goes the fireplace in the living room. I also have a bunch of wicker baskets with tops that hold my old school papers and books and cds. On the big basket I have a really old VCR that is from 1987 and a black and white TV with a six inch screen...next to the baskets is a really small bathroom, but yet it is a bathroom!!!! It is decorated with rubber ducks! ON my door of my room is a Harry Potter drawing I made when I was younger in an Art Class...hee hee... it is quite good

Oh i cant fit much in my room cos it is small but i have a bed, a wardrobe, a draw thing and a bed side table. I also have my TV in there but my DVD player is downstairs. Thats bout it i think!
