Hey guys...

I've had a few technical differculties recently with my computer and modem which is why I haven't been on recently (managed to get about 200 nasty pieces of software a once, I assume thanks to a trojan!).

It still hasn't been completely sorted (I'm on a new computer now, which already has a browser hijacker on...thankfully it's nowhere near as bad as the one on the other computer). However, the time away has got me to realise I'm not interested in this forum for Harry Potter anymore (that sounds stronger than it's meant BTW). The people on here are great but I have decided that I'd rather pursue something that's more than just a social fixation. (Confused yet?)

As a result I've posted this message as my Goodbye in the three forums so that there's no confusion.

I'd just like to say thanks to Paul for creating this site which is...really good! But more than that, for his attitude and respect for those whoe frequent it...of all ages. It's rare to see in forum admins I've found. And by to my fellow Gryffies...the common room was a great laugh at times. Equally best wishes to everyone else

Paul, this can officially be construed as my resignation too, from all my modding positions.

Really sorry that you're leaving Gwared but all the very best wishes for all that you may pursue. You've been a truly creditable Moderator and a very decent and likeable member here at BaO. You've been fair-minded, intelligent and helpful too - really sad to see you go. Sincere thanks for your thoughts in your post - they are really appreciated.

Like Krum said, always feel free to pop back to BaO at any time. Whether it's for a consultation with everyone in St Mungo's or just time out in The Three Broomsticks.

Gwared, you'll be missed here. I agree with Krum. If you have any problems, anything you'd like to share with us or somebody, come back to BaO - you know you'll always be welcomed!

I always prefer it when someone tells us. Makes it easier to know when to replace them as mods for a start.
