I dunno I keep having this feeling that there will be another death in the next book...maybe Cho will die while trying to avenge Cedric?

i dunno about cho going for revenge. she was obviously upset by the loss of cedric, but didn't seem to really feel any hatred, or at least not enough hatred, to go after voldy herself. and seriously now, she's a lot smarter than to try to go after him anyway.

I dont know about Cho trying to take revenge. She doesnt seem liek the type of girl willing to get her hands too dirty. I think that she might like conjuring up a pretty swan patronus at Hogwarts, surrounded by a bunch of other people, but i'm not sure if she'd be too keen on risking her life against Voldemort just for Cedric

. I mean, they were going out when he died, but how close were they really?

Also, I definitly agree on the people that June listed. I was wondering why the Diggory's werent really mentioned more, or played a bigger role in the fith book, but they will for sure be in the next book, i think :-?

I also really hope we see Krum again, i loved him! It would be interesting for him to come back, just to see Ron's reaction!! :grin:

I'm hoping we'll see a bit more of Prof. Flitwick's grand love charms ! : )

Also, the thought of the 3 wizard schools combining their powers to fight Voldemort seems interesting.. I think Karkaroff will be very interested to have a good defence, because Voldemort will definitely want to kill him.

. . . she's no fan of Cho, that's for sure, and frankly, based on what I read in book 5, neither am I! :razz:

For Cho to strike out on revenge, that would mean Cho would have to get over herself, her drama queen/poor me syndrome, and get serious . . . this girl defended Marietta snitching on Dumbledore's Army . . . I'm sure, deep down, Cho may be a lovely girl, and no doubt, she took Cedric's death hard (trust me, I'm not excusing Harry's OTT anger about the whole Cedric thing either), but there were times I just wanted to shake her! Even as much as 'Angry/Self-Absorbed Harry' got me, even Harry (who suffered FAR worse than Cho ever did, having BEEN there and dealt with it all first-hand) managed to get over himself and get the bigger picture and do something. I also agree with AccioNiffler that Cho just isn't the kind of girl to get her hands dirty . . . with all the chaos and upset going on around her, Cho seemed lost in her own self-absorbed world . . . needless to say, she didn't make a good impression on me . . . perhaps she changes and matures in the next book . . . I hope so!

yeah i have to agree with you there. i think that she likes the idea of being able to create a swan patronus in the comfort and security of hogwarts, but when it really came to it she wouldnt want to be out in the thick of things.
She reminds me of those cheerleaders you see in movies who become prom queen etc, but when it comes to the real world they're nothing special.

See I can see Cho avenging Cedrics death in this seen where she is still is messed up and hysterical seeing a DE or LV and sobs "This is for Cedric...Avada Kedevra....sob sob" chokingly, as to it merely stings the attackee and Cho is called a silly girl and is blown to smitherens...then this goes into a segway where DD tells people that there emotions although good cannot get in the way of the quest or something...whatever...i think it would be a no mess way of getting rid of my least favorite character...lol

Cho said something like if they think i am not going to do anything especially after Cedric's death...
She sounds so determined to fight against Voldemort and his death eaters...alright maybe not as in revenge but during a fight, a miscalculated move, or something like this nature (since death is always inevitable during a war)

I think Cho's going to fade quietly into the background now as the more important main characters take over. Especially as she won't be at Hogwarts for book 7. Maybe she'll get killed next book?

yup she is in year 6 in order of phoenix...so the next bk she will be in her final yr...that is why i suspect she will be the next one to die
