Sorry...I made a mistake. Can I be a beater for Eastern US instead?

The thread is two months old, and it's looking as though quidditch will never get off the ground.

No, he's an old member.
Paul just forgets to take old moderators off the job, sometimes. You'll notice that a bit around thee place.

Isn't there a way paul can make it so old mods are automatically taken off?

Probably, yes.

But I know if I was an admin. then I'd want to do it manually. I'd want to be doing something.

I think paul should get more admin around this place. I mean, I understand if he doesn't want one of us to be admin, but he could have a friend he really trusts or something. Things will go much faster if he can find someone who spends a lot of time on the computer.

Like a best mate or something?

Eh, who knows... I know I wouldn't want to.

Yes, this place is a little slow... but I'll get over it.

I would definitely be reluctant to go handing out powers like that.

Yeah, I mean multiple things can happen. I mean, even if his friend won't do anything, he could get mildly drunk one night... decide it would be cool to delete a site....

Or it could be a repeat of a certain Mod who decided it'd be fun to ban a few people off the site.

Well, I'm assuming his best mate wouldn't do that to him. Considering their about thirty and fairly mature.

Hmm, anyway, if it happened he might have to sign a contract or something...

Well, even with written proof, this is a minor forum, depending on how many active members there are, he might get an okay claim. It'll definately go to Small Claims Court, though he'd probably claim about 100$. Now think about it, the cost to go to court.... hire a lawyer... is going to be several thousand. I don't think a contract would work.
