"Hot..." Marc gave an one-word answer. He did not like socialising or rather, he did not know how to socialise. He was a loner ever since his school days at Hogwarts.

Rowena wasn't going to let him get away that easily- she still had fifteen minutes, and knew a short cut back to her classroom if necessary.
"The weather is rather warm," she agreed as she came a little closer to Marc, and gestured to her mug with a rueful smile. "But I just can't resist my tea. Anything interesting happen in the lesson?"

Marc got a little uncomfortable when Rowena approached him closer. "Um...," he stuttered, "as usual I suppose... the first years were scared of me and one fell on his back when I asked him to introduce himself," Marc said in a monotone. He then proceeded to take a gulp of the cold drink.

Rowena chuckled a little and decided to leave it for now, Marc was clearly uncomfortable. But she made a mental note to keep trying until he relaxed a bit. She took a sip of her tea before replying with a wry smile.
"Well, you are a fairly imposing figure- but I wouldn't say scary."
She turned towards the door to head back to her classroom, but once there paused and turned back around.
"I hope the rest of your day goes well, I'll see you at dinner no doubt."
And with that, she departed- fiddling with her plait one-handed as she bounded up the stairs.

The rest of the day's classes went quite smoothly for Stan. The students were all surprisingly quiet. Or perhaps he was too busy with the thoughts in his head. He was dreading Saturday. He had been dreading it ever since that awful owl had appeared with the parchment from the Minister.

All in all Lily had had a lovely day back. The first years had been amazed when she turned one of their classmates into a ficus plant and back again, the second years were happy to return to the school, and she had succeeded in calming a group of Ravenclaw fifth years who were already extremely worried about O.W.L.s.
Lily was happily making her way down to dinner when she passed Stan on the staircase. He looked distracted. As though he hadn't room for any other thought in his head.
"Is everything alright?" she asked, matching her stride to his, her brow furrowing slightly.

Well, the rest of the day had gone mostly without a hitch- no more open attempts at duelling fellow students in class, anyway. But the few Slytherin Sixth years in her last class had left her very nervous. Though it was time for dinner, Rowena didn't think she could face the Great Hall right now and retired to her room. Nox seemed surprised to see her, but came and sat by her feet when she huddled in front of the small fire.
