Getting Sorted (for all members not yet in a House!!)

Wellllll, first you need 25 decent posts on the forum.

And then you can just put a request through on the Sorting Hat forum in the appropriate thread - and apply for the house you wish under usergroups at the top of the screen over 'log out'.

You need to have 25 non-spam posts before you can be sorted, only another 24 to go and then you can ask in the Sorting Hat thread...

Welcome to BaO! Once you have 25 non-spam posts, you may request to be sorted into a house.

The ranks change on their own. They go from Muggle to Squib to first year on up to seventh year and then to fully qualified wizard. They'll change as you gain more posts. Once you are a fully qualified wizard, you may PM Paul and request a new rank (it just can't be Headmaster, Minister of Magic, or Prefect).
