Any book 6 or book 7 rumors?

hidey people the forum has totally changed since i was last on i had to stop coming on here cause i had my exams but iv passed them
but iv heard the rumour that in the new book somebody special dies one of the main characters. is this true and if it is who do you think it could be???????

well it is certain that someone dies in book 5, there is an interview with JK on channel 2 (UK) at 7.30 tonight, and she says that she cried when she killed off this major character!

Yeah, I just read a transcript of that interview. She just basically said how difficult it was to write and all that. And just reiterates a lot of what we already know to be true.

Fronskie Feint, yeah, that sounds like a source of
worthy rumours !

I do not know which one I like best, the "Prof. Trelawney
will have a big crush on Snape" predicted for book 5 or
the "Voldemort is indeed Lily's mother", to be revealed
in book 6

I came up with that theory long ago, and posted somewherein the internet. Lily being daughter of Voldemort, but said it would be revealed until book 7.

Those were simply random rumours I pulled up on an Internet search. Undoubtably, they'll be some duds...and of course, not all rumours are true anyway. Some, I have no doubt, are quite silly...still, I thought they'd be fun to talk about.

I was just surprised at the extensive
list of rumours this site provided. Usually
only a couple rumours are ventured
without groundings / references, to grasp
a minimum of credibility, but that Fronskie
one, nice pick !

Thanks, Fafnul Black. Some of the rumours are just plain off-the-wall, and others seem to be more logical and have credibility. I'll be interested to see what the people of this forum think is possible for the next two books. I keep reading contrasting viewpoints on the next book's title: some say it's "Harry Potter and the Green Flame Torch" and others say it definitely ISN'T that. Anyone have an idea of what the title of the next book is and when it *might* be out?

I am pretty sure that those titles you have mentioned are out, mainly because the source of those rumours tend to claim they have heard it from there parents who work at the publishing companioes, that probably don't even know yet

If I was to throw out random guesses.

I'd say Harry Potter and the silver hand{Hand of light whatever]

and/or Harry Potter and the Scar {lightning scar whatever same as above]

The bit about scar being the last word of the super-rough draft she has drawn up of the last epilogue chapter that sums up what happens to all the characters. Which make it talking about how harry is killled exteremly unlikely, although it could and morbidly in other ways.
