Harry And Neville(spoilers)

Hey this might sound stupid but i was thinking. .........................., we no that by prophecy or circumstance neville is very much involved with the fight against lord voldermort. Voldermort has showed he has the power to posses harry (the end of ootp) what if he possesd harry again and used this against the order etc, and neville IS the person that can defeat lord voldermort, or the other way round. i believe that both neville and harry will play big parts in the next two books. if you can understand what im blabbing on about please give us your opinions.

But as for LV possessing Harry again, yeah it's possible. However, don't you think he'll take his occlumency lessons way more serious now that he knows what happened when he didn't take them serious? Snape might teach him again (on orders from DD) or DD himself might go and teach him..

How do you envision Harry 'working against' the Order?
I really hope Neville will amount to great deeds! He deserves that much!

thanks,ill have a look, i agree with you that harry will take the lessons more seriously, and come to think of it then that means he can stop voldermort from doing this, But what if voldermort posses neville like he did harry do we no its only harry he can posses like that? would neville be able to fight voldermort from the inside like harry?

Yep, he will be able to stop LV from entering his mind, also because he knows what can drive him out of his mind, namely love (eg love for sirius). I think LV's able to enter Harry's mind because of the backfireing AK-curse in Godrick's Hollow. I think DD says so somewhere (in OotP), that some powers were transferred from LV to Harry, and that there's a connection between them because of that.. So he, LV, (probably) doesn't have that kind of a connection with Neville, and won't be able to enter his mind from a distance like he did with Harry! I hope I'm not making things up or something as it's been a while since I've read OotP and I was a bit too hasty to take it all in.. I really should reread it one of these days..

It must be understood that LV chose Harry, not Neville. LV gained a connection with Harry after he attacked him as a baby, that is the only way that LV can enter Harry's mind remotely. I think Neville will be important, but not in final defeat of LV, thats up to Harry.
