Here are some frequently asked questions that you might find useful.
How do I get sorted?
You can be sorted into one of the four houses after you have made 25 non-spam posts. Once you've made your 25 posts, you can ask to be sorted into one of the houses at The Sorting Hat Or, if you don't have a preference, Paul will ask the Sorting Hat to choose for you. Remember, you can't switch houses, so choose carefully.
What are RPG's and how do they work?
RPG's are Role Playing Games. You can join them after you make 30 non-spam posts. More explanation can be found in the RPG Rules Please be sure to read them before you start posting in the RPG section! You must fill out the character submission form before you start posting. More information on that is in the RPG rules thread, as linked above.
How can I get a custom member title?
Once you have made 125 posts (the title will then say Fully Qualified Wizard), you will be able to get a custom member title. You can choose whatever you wish, as long as it doesn't violate the forum rules. You are also not allowed to have Minister of Magic, Headmaster of Hogwarts (which are both reserved for Paul), or Prefect (reserved for house moderators). Once you've made your 125 posts and have decided on your title, PM Paul and tell him what you want.
Why won't my custom avatar show up?
All custom avatars must be approved by Paul before they will show up. This is to ensure that you are not violating any copyrights. It will show up once Paul approves it.
Why won't my signature show up?
Signatures are not allowed on this forum. They often are too big and make it difficult to read threads. Also, they make the pages load slower and that can be a pain for people with dial-up internet.
What is the spoiler policy?
For now, anything you post that has a Deathly Hallows spoiler must be made in the Deathly Hallows sections at the top of the index page. We'll let you know when you can talk about Deathly Hallows in the rest of the sections. Also, there are no Order of the Phoenix and up spoilers allowed in the Phoenix Free Room, and no Half-Blood Prince and up spoilers allowed in the Prince Free Room.
